I think I'm going to need a bigger pole... or a bigger net. 🎣 This guy decided to crash the panfish party and put my light gear to the ultimate test. 6lb test line vs. a river monster—the river lost this round.

I rucked deep into Raven’s Rock today thinking the low water would congregate the monsters in the secret pockets. Instead, I got a 7-mile workout and three fish that weren't much bigger than my bait.
​This is the raw reality of backpack fishing—the grind is real, and it doesn't always pay off in trophies. But hey, at least the views were better than the bite.
