No motivation to work out? Feel like there is just no time? Even just squeezing in 30 minutes 3 times a week can have wonderful effects on your overall health!

1. **Improved Physical Health**: Regular exercise can help maintain a healthy weight, reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers, improve cardiovascular health, and strengthen muscles and bones.

2. **Enhanced Mental Well-being**: Exercise is known to release endorphins, chemicals in the brain that act as natural painkillers and mood elevators. Regular physical activity can help reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, improve sleep quality, and boost self-esteem and confidence.

3. **Increased Energy Levels**: Engaging in regular exercise can lead to increased energy levels and improved stamina, making daily activities easier to perform and reducing feelings of fatigue.

4. **Better Cognitive Function**: Exercise has been shown to enhance cognitive function, including memory, attention, and processing speed. Regular physical activity may reduce the risk of cognitive decline and improve brain health as we age.

5. **Stress Relief**: Physical activity can help alleviate stress and tension by providing a healthy outlet for releasing pent-up energy and emotions. Regular exercise promotes relaxation and can improve overall stress management skills.

6. **Social Interaction**: Many forms of exercise, such as team sports, group fitness classes, or outdoor activities, provide opportunities for social interaction and connection with others, which can contribute to a sense of belonging and community.

7. **Longevity**: Studies have consistently shown that regular exercise is associated with a longer lifespan and a higher quality of life in older adults. By maintaining physical fitness and overall health, regular exercisers are more likely to enjoy a longer and more fulfilling life.

Overall, regular exercise is essential for maintaining a healthy body and mind. Incorporating exercise into a daily or weekly routine can lead to numerous long-term benefits!

Stretching!! It’s super important so you don’t get hurt! *I swear the student with the impressive back bend does in fact have a spine!!
**no one was hurt during the stretching!

Stretching before practicing martial arts is crucial for several reasons:

1. **Injury Prevention**: Stretching helps warm up the muscles, tendons, and ligaments, reducing the risk of strains, pulls, and other injuries during training or sparring sessions.

2. **Improved Flexibility**: Martial arts often require a wide range of motion and flexibility. Stretching regularly can improve flexibility, allowing practitioners to perform techniques more effectively and with less risk of injury.

3. **Enhanced Performance**: Flexible muscles and joints can perform techniques more efficiently and with greater power and precision. Stretching before training can help optimize performance.

4. **Mental Preparation**: Stretching can also serve as a mental warm-up, helping practitioners to focus their minds and prepare mentally for the physical demands of training.

5. **Postural Alignment**: Proper stretching can correct imbalances and improve posture, which is essential for executing techniques with optimal biomechanics and reducing the risk of overuse injuries.

Overall, incorporating stretching into a martial arts practice (or you know, just a daily routine) not only reduces the risk of injury but also enhances performance and contributes to overall physical and mental well-being.

Don't be intimidated! We have a very friendly atmosphere, and our workouts are designed to be done at your pace. It doesn't matter if you're a high-school athlete or in retirement, you both are going to be able to do the workout, and you'll both feel it.

Classes are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6pm to 7pm.
50$ a month.
Prefer 9 and older, but will make exceptions on kids younger than 9.
We only have 1 class with both kids and adults, which works out well with how class is designed.

Happy new years everyone!
Does your New Years resolution involve health, fitness, or a new skill?
If your answer is yes, then come try martial arts with Mushin Kempo Karate this year.
Better than a gym if you want someone to push you without the fees that come with a personal trainer.
Doesn't matter if you haven't worked out in 10 years or if you're a current athlete. The way the workouts are designed make them challenging and doable for all ages and skill levels.
Learn a new valuable skill while you're at it that makes you feel safe when you would normally have felt vulnerable.
Giving anyone who messages and shows up a free week to try us out before making a commitment; that's 3 hour long classes!
Offer valid through the duration of January

Good Morning from Mushin Kempo Karate!
We are looking for new students to join.
Give us the chance to teach you or your loved ones how to protect yourselves.

We accept students ages 8 and older, but will make exceptions.
We have only one class at this time involving both kids and adults, so students will need to be able to stand in place and take direction without repetitive corrections.

We teach much more then just punching, blocking, and kicking.
Moves that will allow you to quickly get away from someone trying to grab, or hold you against your will.
I'll also teach you to be loud, and stand your ground.
Takes around a year for the students to notice big changes in their abilities and confidence.

Class starts with stretching, a challenging workout designed to work at your own pace, then technique to finish class.
A class syllabus will be available on the first day of class giving a detailed description of expectations and rules.

Hello everyone!
We are looking for new students to join us at Mushin Kempo Karate
Mondays Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 7pm
$50 a month
We accept students of the age 9 and older, but will make exceptions.

We run only one class involving both kids and adults, so students will need to be able to stand in place and take direction without to much correction.
We want adults too, not just kids.

We won't just teach you how to kick and punch. We'll teach you how to protect your life and others by breaking joints, retraining & control, throwing people, and much more.
Let us teach your kids so you won't have to worry when they are on their own.

We start class with stretching to reduce your risk of injury and increase your overall mobility.
Then we move onto a challenging workout that's designed to work at your own pace, so you can start anytime and still be a challenge for advanced students.
Then we will work on technique.
