After the team tournament, we did the individual tournament and these were our places of that tournament. Sol placed 2nd at 106 (lost in overtime), Jesse placed 5th at 106, kolton place 4th at 120, brax placed 1st at 126, Zeke place 1st at 138, Xavier placed 4th at 150, Gabe placed 5th at 157, Bodie placed 4th at 165,

I'm so proud of our Benson Wrestlers! These guys stayed after practice Thursday and then waited after the basketball game in order to set up the tournament. They stayed there till 10pm setting up (which is later than we wanted them to stay) but they came back on Friday and won their pool with 4 other teams which after forfeiting 4 weight classes and giving up 24 pts I thought was neat impossible. They wrestled their hearts out! After getting to the #1 bracket they tied Buena but after 4 forfeits they won on criteria. We placed 3rd out of twenty teams. Proud of our boys!

I'm so proud of the way these kids battled yesterday. They put it all out there and wrestle their hearts out. They kept saying it was weird and that they missed their coaches and teammates which I totally understand. We tried our best to help them in any way we can. Benson is taking 3 to state. Brax at 106 took 2nd and Bodie at 138 and Beeman at heavyweight took 4th. I'll post more pics when I recieved them. Thank you to coach Cluff and coach Miller for all their help.
