Southern School of Martial Arts and Rivers Edge Bujinkan Dojo, First Week Free! In any of the arts we teach. WE OUR OPEN! and WE ARE ACCEPTING NEW STUDENTS! But that is where the similarities stop.

At Southern School of Martial Arts students learn specialized self defense and reality based martial arts. We are a non sport self defense martial arts school that focuses on the self defense aspect of martial arts. This is a great art for those children who are being bullied at school or for those adults wanting to learn effective self defense. Our martial art is based in a Modern classic form of Ju-Jitsu with a blend of Ninjutsu, Aikido, Judo, Karate, Eskrima and Kali. It is a very dynamic martial art style that offers much more than just one single martial art style. There are striking techniques like punching and kicking that are very similar to Tae Kwon Do and Karate. We also teach grappling techniques both standing and on the ground, throwing techniques, various joint locks, weapons techniques, weapon disarms and retention, techniques for police and military and specialty classes for those who want private training. We also have Rivers Edge Bujinkan Dojo in the same building that teaches the traditional art of the Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. This is Ninjutsu the historical martial art of the Ninja. This art teaches weapons, striking and grappling with stealth and outdoor training. We also teach select techniques and aspects of several other martial arts that Soke has experience with, these are Russian Martial Arts, Krav Maga and JKD. If you want more in a martial art please check us out. We have classes for children ages 3 to 5 called Little Ninja, classes for children ages 6 to 12 called Kobushi-Do "The Little Warrior Way" and classes for teens and adults Manabi-Masho Ju-Jitsu and Bujinkan Ninjutsu. Our new training manual is complete. This training is a combination of the IBDA manual and material from other Bujinkan sources. This a very clean and easy to follow training manual. I included some new pictures. We are still an IBDA affiliate dojo and will continue to be so. I wanted to add material from other Bujinkan sources to what I had so the student gets a good rounded Ninjutsu curriculum. I included some new pictures of a few pages in the book and new website pictures as well. It was time to update the picture from 2002.

Here is a good video of another Sensei that has modernized Classic Ju-Jitsu. Amen brother! I do the samething, real modern Ju-Jitsu. Love it. He kinda reminds me of my late Sensei John Casarez.

This Tuesday September 8th is the first, and free demonstration and trial class for Children, 6:00pm to 7:00pm and Teen and Adults, 7:00pm to 8:30pm. The regular Monday classes will begin September 14th 5:30pm to 6:03pm for children and 6:30pm to 8:30pm for teens and adults. If you are interested in the class the free trial is completely free with obligation to sign up. Why not give it a try.

Hi this is Sensei Murdock, I'm tring to determine if my add for the new Traditional Ninjutsu class is being seen locally. Specificly in a 20 mile radius of the Dojo. II've been geeting likes and intrest from people out of state and all over the country. I was wanting this to be advertised locally.
