Registration is now open for Adult Co-Ed Softball AND Adult Men's Softball at Benson Parks and Recreation!

Note : You still will bring your own team, but each player must sign up individually rather than registering the team as a whole

🇺🇸 SAVE THE DATE REMINDER 🎇

Benson Parks and Recreation and the Town of Benson will host this year's Independence Day celebration at the Parker Complex (502 S. Elm Street - across from the Parks office) on Friday, July 3!

The party kicks off at 6pm with food trucks, music, games, family activities, and more! The fireworks display will launch around 9:30pm from McLamb Tart Road.

👀 Good spots around town to view the fireworks include the Parker Complex, Dollar General and the surrounding area along US301, Benton Square (next to Benton Card Company), and the Railroad Street area near Cornerstone Cafe. The fireworks will launch from roughly the same area as previous events — if you were able to view them from your home in the past, you should be able to see them this year as well.

Hey Benson area 5-8 graders (and parents)! Save the date for Camp BRIDGE — a one-of-a-kind summer camp hosted by the Benson Police Department and Benson Parks and Recreation set for July 21-23, 2026!

What does BRIDGE stand for? Building Relationships, Inspiring Dreams, Gaining Excellence! Activities will include tie-dying, police demonstrations, games, sports, and so much more! Interested? Clear your calendars and stay tuned for registration coming very soon!

The Benson Parks and Recreation and Mary Duncan Public Library building on Elm Street (next to the Fire Department) will be closed for the remainder of today (5-15-26) through the weekend to allow for contractors to repair a plumbing issue.
