Friends of Muddy Road Outfitters,
It is with deep sadness that we share some difficult news. Due to unforeseen health challenges last spring, we were unable to raise pheasants this year. Sadly, this means we will not be able to host hunts this season—for the first time in more than 25 years.

We are hopeful we'll be able to return in the fall of 2026. Please know how much we have valued your friendship and support over the years. We look forward to seeing you again next fall.

We've had some beautiful fall days out here on the Muddy Road Ranch. Perfect for hunting. We are, however, booked up on the weekends until mid December. We would love to see you on the weekdays though!

UPDATE!!! Apparently Senator Hillyard INCORRECTLY said that this meeting is postponed till Thursday when he was interviewed on KVNU this morning. THIS IS INCORRECT! THE MEETING IS STILL ON TONIGHT!! Make sure you bring your neighbors and speak your mind TONIGHT!!!

IMPORTANT CUTLER MEETING TOMORROW! PacifiCorp will present their plan to raise Cutler the Cache Water District Monday, June 19 at 5:30 PM at the Cache County Historic Courthouse, 199 North Main, Logan. We need to show the Water District Board that there are a lot of people opposed to PacifiCorp's proposal for many reasons.

There will be public comment at the beginning of the meeting. YOU GET THE FLOOR THIS TIME!

THIS MEETING IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN PACIFICORP'S "SIT-DOWN-AND-SHUT-UP" MEETING WE ENDURED. COME SHOW HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT PACIFICORP DESTROYING CACHE RESOURCES AND TAKING CACHE WATER TO ENRICH THE POWER COMPANY!!! SEE YOU TOMORROW!!

Hi Friends. This is just a reminder for all of you folks who'd like to stand in opposition to this terrible project and company. The meeting to discuss the 'Cutler Project' (or the landgrab/wildlife destruction project) will be tonight at 5:00 p.m. at the Riverwoods conference center. Please, please come and stand with us, and fight this proposal! Thanks!

Hello Muddy Road Pheasant Hunters. We wanted to make you all aware of a proposal being made by PacifiCorp (company who controls Cutler Reservoir….next to the Muddy Road Ranch). This proposal will likely increase the water level of the reservoir by 3+ feet, putting much of our land, our home, and our hunting areas under water. As you might imagine, we are completely distraught by this possibility. Not only would we lose our home and much of our farm, we would also lose our business and in turn, you, our good friends that hunt at Muddy Road Outfitters.

What can you do to help? At this point, we are still at the (likely) proposal stage. We’re hoping to raise enough support from our good friends to dissuade PacifiCorp from making this terrible mistake.
PLEASE COME AND SUPPORT MUDDY ROAD OUTFITTERS AND JIM AND BARB WATTERSON AT THE CUTLER PROJECT PUBLIC MEETING. IT WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MAY 9TH FROM 5:00-6:00 P.M. AT THE RIVERWOODS CONFERENCE CENTER.
