Happy Valentine’s Day, Sharks! 💙
We spent the day with our one true love - swimming! There’s truly no better place to feel the love than at a swim meet 😍 But really, stick with us here…
Look around the stands and you see parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins packed into a hot pool to watch ~30-second races over the span of 5+ hours. Cheering with everything they have, convinced their love alone can make their swimmer go faster, and somehow it does.
On deck, lifelong bonds are being built amongst teammates. Hours of connecting, laughing, and cheering at the top of their lungs over their shared passion. A sense of ease only that environment can create.
Poolside, the trust between coach and swimmer steadies nervous energy. Shared signals and a “GO!” are exchanged at just the right breath during a race, a high five ready when they step out of the pool, and there to lift spirits when things don’t go as planned.
And then there’s your swimmer. Proud of the work they’ve put in, feeling loved and supported as they catch your eye in the stands, calm with their teammates beside them, and confident knowing their coach has their back no matter the outcome.
So much love that it radiates and carries them through a lifetime. Yeah…this is what Valentine’s Day is truly about…
