Do not park by the Bo Jackson Dome or you will be towed!

Join us this evening at the front wood bar at Sidetrack (3349 N Halsted
Chicago, IL 60657) from 7–9 PM to get checked in and kick off an amazing tournament weekend!

We highly encourage all players to register tonight to help alleviate congestion at the gym tomorrow. All players must be registered before stepping foot on the court.

Captains: it is imperative that you verify the accuracy of your roster on the registration waivers.

Good Evening Captains/Team Reps,

Today marks a week before our tournament and we are excited to host this event! Attached is our Chicago Windy City Open Tournament Guide. Please familiarize yourselves and your players with the document as it contains details of our weekend and pool play schedules. Legends B, B, and BB teams have AM and PM pool play schedules. All C Division and Legends BB teams have AM pool play. It also contains links to important information for your convenience. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me!

Also if your team has more than 7 players and you have not paid extra player fees, please pay your extra player and/or officiating fees (if you lack a certified R1 and/or scorekeeper) fees here, as soon as possible. The pool play schedules and tournament guide will also be posted on our page, as well as any important information for the weekend.

You can track the weekend on SPRAMPY.COM. Events, Pool play schedules, results and bracket play will be populated on Sprampy.

In addition to being a regular C, B and BB tournament, there is a Legends Division. Most of you already know: to play in Legends, you must be 35 or older. If you bring unrated players who ultimately rate higher than the division level you are playing, they WILL NOT be permitted to continue in that division. That player may find a team to play with in the next higher division but we ARE NOT moving any teams up to the next higher division. For more details on non rated players, please consult the NAGVA Rules and Regulations.

The following is an IMPORTANT Update on NAGVA website Issues! Please read:

NAGVA is nearly there but until they get there in relatively short order, would ask of you to do a few things:

1. Captains please register your teams for the WCO tournament on nagva.org and nagvatemp.org websites. This includes uploading your rosters on both sites. 198### numbers will not be able to be added online on the older website. All players will be able to be added on the nagva.org website. Yes, it’s double work for you but it really shouldn't be too burdensome. Nagva will make an announcement as to when that will no longer be needed.

2. If existing members are having difficulty setting up their nagvatemp accounts on nagva.org, please use this guide: https://drive.google.com/file/d 1xm1kIWH1gtQxfi3bQwJOlJr7KZjrSCS_/view. If still having issues logging in, email [email protected].

3. If a player has paid their fee but it's not showing, please have them email [email protected] and cc [email protected] and Rich or Lew will be able to handle quickly.

4. If anyone is having additional problems beyond the above, please email [email protected] and cc [email protected] and [email protected].

Important info reminder:

1. Please update, or tell your team captain, to update your team Rosters by Wednesday evening (March 4, 2026), if possible. I will place the order for player shirts by business close on March 5th, 2026, to ensure we receive them in time for the tournament. If your team rosters are not updated, you may receive shirts that are the wrong size for your players. Thanks for your help with this!

2. Please log onto our payment website to pay extra player fees. We will not accept cash at registration, so please use the link above before coming to registration.

3. Ensure you and your team players follow our Tournament page to receive timely and accurate tournament information. We will be posting everything pertaining to the tournament on Facebook.

4. We are finalizing our seeding party location, once they are secured, I'll have it posted on the NAGVA site and our page.

5. We will be using SPRAMPY again to display pool play results and tournament play progress.

6. Make sure your team has a certified R1 and scorekeeper, study guides and testing are available on the Nagva website. If your team cannot R1 and scorekeep, you will be charged for each set you have to ref.

7. If you have a request for pool play (ie. AM or PM), please EMAIL me at (even if you've already told me in other ways): [email protected]. I will try to honor requests but please only send requests if you absolutely need a specific pool. The deadline for your request is business close on March 6th . I cannot guarantee your requests will be granted, primarily due to the number of teams in some divisions and court logistics.

I will distribute a detailed player guide closer to the tournament that contains all of the important information for our tournament.
