***Please read and Share with neighbors!***
Hey neighbors, just wanted to be blunt and straightforward with everyone about the board, vote and covenant change etc. so PLEASE take the time to read.
Our current covenants are over 20 years old. Things change and we have worked hard as a board to adapt and update current regulations to be more compromising and change with the times…As well as address the most frequent requests and violations.
That being said, over the last 3 years, we have taken surveys, asked for input, held meetings and worked tirelessly with our management company and lawyers to do just that. However to make changes, we need 60% of homeowners to vote. That’s 60% of over 600 lots!
Throughout this process we have had plenty of people offer opinions, complaints, support, etc. we also deal with PLENTY of violations that neighbors report about other neighbors very regularly. Well, we have done all the leg work and as of last night’s vote, only about 13% of lot owners voted or submitted a proxy. We sent notice via USPS, email (which many of you unsubscribe from), website notice and public meetings. We have tried to communicate the information in as many ways possible.
Just letting you all know the honest truth, all the time and money to amend and update these covenants is about to be completely wasted if we don’t have participation in this vote by next week.
Furthermore, if the amendments don’t pass, we will be forced to keep current covenants and enforcement rules. This means NO sheds. Be prepared for violation notices and liens placed on your home for failure to remove them (if you currently have one). Temp pools over the summer? Violation. Trailer/rv in your driveway for 21 calendar days? Violation. School spirit sign in your yard to support your kiddo? Violation. So you see where all this is going, right?
If you need a proxy/ballot, please reach out to Jaime at [email protected]

Thank you for reading, thank you for your input and thank you for voting! We want Pine Creek to continue to be the wonderful neighborhood it is, but it takes ALL of us!
Sincerely,
Your current board president
