Lately I've been reminded that God doesn't just care about the big milestones. He cares about the small steps too. The quiet prayers. The closed doors. The unexpected detours. The days when we're confident, and the days when we're simply trying not to stumble.

And when we do stumble? We are not left to figure it out alone.

"Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand." 🤍

At Studio 4:8 Yoga — Nebraska’s only Christ-centered yoga studio and school — our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed to help students grow not only in knowledge and practice, but in stillness, confidence, faith, and connection with God and community!

🤍Stacey graduated from our most recent YTT class, and this is part of her story:

🌿 "Before YTT:
Before YTT, I was carrying a lot—work, kids, life—and constantly putting myself last. I was running on stress and trying to hold everything together on my own. I didn’t realize how much I was operating from pressure instead of peace, and how little I was actually slowing down to listen to what God was trying to show me.

✨ During YTT:
YTT became more than just training—it became a space where I could quiet the noise and reconnect with God in a deeper way. I started to release control and lean into trust. There were moments that stretched me, but they also softened me. I became more aware of how much I needed stillness, surrender, and grace—for myself and my life.

🕊️ Now:
Now I feel more grounded, more at peace, and more aligned with who God created me to be. My life is still full, but I don’t carry it the same way. I pause more, I breathe more, and I trust that I don’t have to have everything figured out. I feel more present, more confident, and more connected—to my faith, myself, and my boys.

🤍 To someone considering it:
If you feel a pull toward YTT, I truly believe that’s God placing something on your heart for a reason. You don’t have to be ready or perfect—just willing. It’s not just about becoming a teacher, it’s about growing, healing, and learning to trust Him in a deeper way."

"I am from North Platte, NE originally, have a BA in Opera, a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and now I am a Holistic Health Coach who specializes in teaching people how to heal themselves through alkaline nutrition, homeopathy and herbalism. I used to have a steady yoga practice years ago until a foot injury and it was always a bucket list to get my 200 YTT. I am drawn to Studio 4:8 because of their Christ centered focus and I am looking to further connect to Christ within me through the development of this teaching practice. Also looking forward to jointly doing the training with my man, Thomas."

Lately I have been realizing how badly I want answers on my timeline.🫣

I want clarity now.
I want to know what is coming.
I want things to make sense before I take the next step.

But this morning I watched the sunrise and was reminded that the sun comes up slowly.

Not all at once.
Not in a rush.
Not with every answer immediately visible.

Just enough light for the next step.🌅

I think maybe God knows that if He showed me the whole picture at once, I would panic trying to control all of it.

So instead, He gives me what I need for today.
A little light.
A little peace.
A reminder that He is still there, even when I cannot see very far ahead.

Maybe that is enough for right now.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105

☀️At Studio 4:8, we believe this is what it means to walk with Jesus sometimes — not having the whole picture, but trusting Him with the next step.

We believe yoga can simply be a space to slow down, quiet the noise, and make room to hear from God again. You do not need to show up with everything together. You just need a willing heart.
