2023 LINCOLN IKES OUTDOOR YOUTH DAY

We will be hosting our annual 2023 Lincoln Ikes Outdoor Youth Day this Saturday, June 10th!

This is a free event to youth that register between the ages of 10-18 years of age (must be accompanied by a parent or guardian) and lunch will be provided. The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. with the sign-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. in our clubhouse.

These annual events provide an opportunity for youth to experience different shooting disciplines including rifle, shotgun, archery, and some beginner fishing instructions!

Please register at your earliest convenience at www.register-ed.com/events/view/195281 as we are open to the first 70 youth who register for this day.

Due to the projected weather I felt that it is just best to cancel trap league tonight. The rest of the shooting schedule will stay the same with tonight shooting beginning completed on the rainout date at the end of the schedule.

Thank you to all of our Rifle Sight-In Day volunteers for our first of three days yesterday! It was a colder day, but with great volunteers, it made for a nice day.
A big thank you to Neil Lunzmann for leading the day and all the prep work he did to make it run smoothly.
If you’re interested in sighting in your rifle for the upcoming hunting season, we will have two more of these sight-in days open to the public (and of course our members) on Sundays, November 1st and 8th, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Hope to see many of you there then!

Hunter Sight-In Day TODAY from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.!

As a reminder, bring your
1) eye protection,
2) ear protection,
3) a face mask for anyone attending,
4) your rifle (action open, magazines unloaded, etc.),
5) your ammunition,
4) and unfortunately, it looks like the weather forecast is going to be cold. Dress in layers and have weather appropriate gear if needed (such as hat, gloves, coats, boats, etc.)

As noted above, it will be required that all attending the sight-in days, helpers and those sighting-in, will be required to wear a face mask. If a participant shows up without one, they will have the option of
1) Buying one from our sign-in table, or
2) We will not be able to help them this year.
