Back to Back Jack: The Our Lady Academy girls golf team has done it again. It took a play-off this time but senior Gabby Haas and junior Tilley Newman both birdied the par 5 9th hole at Dogwoods Golf course in Grenada MS. to take the win. Gabby Haas shot a new record score of 75. Needless to say coach is very proud of these young ladies. The team also consist of senior Emma Monti and junior Hope Ponte.

Well they did it again. OLA girls won our district tournament and headed off to state. Gabby Haas was the medalist for the tournament. Give these girls a shout out if you happen to see them. Making old coach proud.

Well OLA girls out did themselves again placing 2nd in the George County Invitational. We all know who finished 1st (Hancock) but with a little twist. Tilley Newman tied the invincible Karstyn Altese and won first place in a play off. It get's better. Hope Ponte whos goal was to break 100 did so convincingly: She shot an 85. What a day for OLA.

Great news they caught the guy thanks to quick thinking citizen. The secrect service fired shots before the guy had a change to get a round off.

So proud to be the coach of these OLA girls. They came in 2nd playing in the East Central Whispering Pines Golf Tournament playing against 18 of the major High Schools in South Mississippi. Lost first place to fellow Hancock High School Golf Team,

Got to give a shout out and hope you all give him a pat on the back. My newest golf student Jim Massey shot a smooth 67 from the white tee's on the Cardinal last week. He actually listens's and practices. LOL
