For anyone interested in Water Polo,
I want to extend an invitation out to anyone interesting in signing up for my USA water polo club team, Bay Area Sunset Aquatics. We are finally getting this program up and running. Right now we are trying to see how many people are interesting in signing up to get an estimate on what we will be able to do this summer. If you are interested, please fill out this registration form I am going to attach in this post. It has been some time since we have had a program in the area that we can promise will go out and see game time at summer tournaments. I hope you all are excited because this will definitely raise the level in the water polo programs around in the area. Again, please fill out the form as soon as possible because we want to get this program running sooner rather than later.

*All players must be registered for USA Water Polo in order to compete in tournaments. Go here to register for an athlete membership. I would advise to get the Gold membership because we plan on making this a year round program and this will cover their membership all year round.

Hello,
THIS IS FOR ANYONE RELATED WITH WATER POLO.
We will be starting the club team this summer and just to get everyone involved knowing whats going on early on. The summer polo starts May 12th (people going to sections will miss the first week). I fully intend on going to tournaments and the whole nine this summer. The cost of the whole summer will be $300 and everyone who wants to play in the tournaments this summer will have to sign up for USA water polo. We will want the gold membership which costs another $80 on top of the sign up cost. I am heavily trying to figure out everything I need to do on my end, but I want to make sure everyone else is thinking about it in the back of their heads because we will need full participation this summer.
We got the coaches, unfortunately for all of our schedules...we will have to run practices out of Cunningham from 7-9:30pm again. It will give us the whole pool and we will run a 25M course and a 25yard course to practice in. Girls and Boys will switch between weeks or depending on who has a tournament that weekend.
If everything works out, we will be gong by the name of Sunset Water Polo Club. Hope everyone is excited because I know all of us coaches are. Continue to work hard in the swimming season to get faster to help out your speed and feel for the water.

Hey Everyone,
Tomorrow is the first competition/tournament that Cal's women's water polo will be playing. Cal is hosting the Speedo Cup which will include a game between Cal/Pacific, Pacific/Stanford, and Cal/Stanford. Its a good early season match up that would be great for many of the girls on the water polo team to check out. I don't know what the cost would be at the gate, so have some money available if attending. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

With school starting up in this 2014 year, don't forget your efforts. Its a new year that should have all of you inspired and excited. Make this the year where you don't wait for success....you go out and take it. No Excuse! No Quitting! Just keep moving forward and progressing, regardless or the little successes and failures you encounter.

Hello All Past and Present BHS water polo players,
On Monday and Thursday of this up coming week, we will be trying to gather people to just have a huge turn out for scrimmages during our practice hours. It will go from 3:30-6:30. Just drop in whenever you can make it between those times and we will try and get you on a team to play. So if you are still in town and have nothing going on, come out and play some water polo.

Hello Everyone,
This message goes out to all the students that are going to be a part of the 2014 season. I want to thank everyone who showed up for the meeting. In case you missed it and need the hand out, go to Mr. Fritz's room and pick one up.
As mentioned in the meeting, this year there is a requirement for all new athletes to the team. It requires the swimmer to be able to complete 3 races from day one. GVRD will be running a swimming clinic that I will be instructing from January 6th - January 31st. Sign up through the GVRD website and register. This class can be used to get back into shape before season, or used to learn the strokes and get comfortable before the season's start.
We will be having three new assistant coaches this year. Max Tiuseco, who most know from water polo. Ares Elmore and Jose Martin. With a very knowledgable coaching staff, we believe this should be a very strong swim team that takes the next step. I hope everyone is as excited as the coaching staff is for the season. No tickets will be mailed. All tickets will be avaliable at Will Call at Chris Kjeldsen Pool beginning one hour before the first match of the day. Will Call will be open all day long for all three days of the tournament.

Hello Everyone involved with Benicia Water Polo,
I wanted to let everyone know about the MPSF tournament happening next weekend at University of Pacific. If you aren't out of town, I think this would be the best way for you guys to end your vacation week. The tournament goes on Friday through Sunday. MPSF is the best tournament for D1 Mens Water Polo - more so than NCAA's. I am not sure of the cost, but coming for one of the days and just watching water polo at its finest should be an interest for all of you. I hope to see many of you there in attendance.
