New Skirts… kinda
We’ve had these jig skirts molds for a while, but were never fully satisfied with the fitment on some of our jigs. They were marketed as universal replacements for silicone skirts and designed to perfectly match trailers poured from the same plastisol colors — but the center hole was larger than most jig collars, leaving the fitment less secure than we wanted.
We’ve had this idea in mind for a while, so in typical YATES BAITS fashion, we started modifying them. Even though we completely destroyed the original concept, we ended up creating a one-of-a-kind product in the process.
What started as a jig skirt experiment has evolved into solid soft-plastic skirts that can be attached to virtually any soft plastic bait for a completely integrated look and action.
Current variations include:
• 24 strand skirts
• 1/2 spade thickness skirts
• Full spade skirts
