Bait Makers: Quick Tip
If you’re using LureWorks colorants, we highly recommend putting a piece of tape over the color label when you receive them. Once these bottles start getting used, the label turns into disappearing ink. 😂😂
Not sure why a laminated label isn’t used, as it would likely hold up much better in a bait-making environment.
We recently took it a step further by using a label maker with transparent tape. We cover the original label with a clear strip and print the color name, color number, transparency, and bleed type on the side. We also swap the standard Yorker cap for a twist cap, which gives us better consistency and control when dispensing colorants.
It’s a little extra work up front, but it makes life a lot easier when you’re staring at a shelf full of bottles trying to figure out which color is which. 🎣
