Benedicta Snow Gang has been in existence for over 34 years! The site is constantly being updating, and we will be adding items as the snow season goes on.

We would like to extend an invitation to all snowmobilers to come and enjoy our trails and the easy access to much of the premier riding we have to offer.

Pat and Randy spent part of the day breaking the track apart on one of our machines for a future work day to get the big wheel off. We found out need a 3 man team to make that happen with the rest of the job.

It’s nice we have cover to work on our machines now.

Also James and Randy modified a troublesome spot on one of our trails earlier in the week.

Members/Sledders,

Pat took apart the front of the 110 to get a piece fixed that will hopefully get fixed this week. Randy assisted as much as he could with the process.

The Snow Gang has a list of projects to get done in the off-season. As Pat says easier to work when it’s warmer and under cover.

IMPORTANT INFO. last week I posted info. for ISLAND FALLS FREEWHEELERS not opining memorial weekend.Today we been out on the trails some are ready some are not I just talked to KATAHDIN VALLEY WHEELERS and they are like us a little worse they got beaver problems and yes we do have one to all of these clubs interconnect with each other so in the best interest of the landowners we will not open memorial weekend we will keep watching hope for good weather which next week suppose to be right now looking at June 1st KATAHDIN WHEELERS SAME in less something changes. please respect landowners

See below, in referencing to registering your sleds for the 2027 season.

Hello MSA members & Clubs:

LD1547 passed both branches of the legislature and was signed by the governor this week.

The passage represents over a year of working towards better funding mechanisms for Maine snowmobile clubs via Trail & Equipment grant programs.

Starting the fall of 2027 Maine will have an early & in-season registration. Early season (before December 15th) registration will remain the same for residents and non-residents, while in-season (after December 15th) will go up following inflation to $70.00 and $150.00 respectively. The 3 & 10 day passes have also increased. ALL of the increase will go directly to the trail maintenance & capital equipment grant programs that clubs are eligible for.

This will not resolve the whole funding gap between club spending and expenses but should close the gap by around 1 million dollars annually.

MSA would like to extend a special thank you to Senator Russell Black for sponsoring and supporting the legislation, our lobbyist James Cote for countless hours of guidance and work in the halls of the State House as well as the feedback from our membership/club directors as we worked through the process.

We would also like to thank the folks at DACF and IF&W for their guidance and support to ensure what passed met the objective we rolled out.

Today we had our last meeting for this riding season, thanks to all who help the club in their own way. To those that step up to be in a position, help on trails, selling raffle tickets, grooming, working on trails and equipment, making food for our functions and everything else that I’m missing, big THANK YOU!

We have a crew operating without any hiccups and it makes the club run so much better and smoother.

Thanks to all the members and sledders that support our small club by becoming a member and donating their time and funds, everything helps.

Also, thanks to James, Pat and Randy for picking up a good portion of our signs and stakes today after the meeting.

Lastly, thanks to all the Landowners that let us use their land for our trails, without them we wouldn’t have a trail system.
