Coyote Butte, nearby trash camps, and parts of Cabin butte were cleaned the weekend of June 1st by the Central Oregon Landcruisers, members of the community and volunteers. No agency comes in and cleans this up, take care of our lands! PLEASE use a tarp and pack out your spent casings and any targets you may have shot, lunch you may have ate, etc. This area is always high risk of being closed off to the public and only you, the users can stop it by helping keep it clean.

Just a reminder. Coyote butte is closed this weekend for a cleanup event. Due to safety of people walking about etc please take your extra curriculars elsewhere or come join the cleanup. This event is Free and open to the public. The goal is to keep this area open access to those who enjoy using it.

If you are dumb enough to dump your trash, with your name and address still on the labels, you WILL be reported to the local Sheriffs. If you see any new dump sites, please call them in to aid open investigations against perpetrators. The local community just cleaned over 5 tons of trash from this area alone and people are already back at trashing it. Keep your eyes open, speak up, take photos, report.

Don't forget to pick up your shells, casings, and shredded targets! A large Tarp works wonders. Help keep this area OP...

Don't forget to pick up your shells, casings, and shredded targets! A large Tarp works wonders. Help keep this area OPEN by doing your part and shooting only into the pit area. There is residence and mountain biking trails nearby who've had close encounters. Please shoot responsibly, and let's keep it looking more like this!
