Current class schedule for group Pilates at Hands On:

Mondays:
6:30am Pilates Challenge
8:30am Pilates Fundamentals
9:30am Pilates Fundamentals

Wednesdays:
6:30am Pilates Challenge
8:30am Pilates Fundamentals
9:30am Pilates Fundamentals
4:00pm Mixed Pilates

Fridays:
12:00noon Pilates Fundamentals
1:00pm Pilates Challenge

We have been playing with a format where we repeat a series of exercises for about 4 weeks. In this way, we get to “start from the beginning,” learning or re-learning the foundation of each exercise and grow in strength and control, refining the ex*****on of this series and taking it “to the next level.” This also allows for everyone to find what version of the exercise they can find the perfect balance of challenge and safety and explore in that realm.

Then, every 4 weeks, we get to start all over again anew. With a whole different set of new activities.

This has been a blast for me as an instructor to see people who’ve been doing this practice for years improve on exercises they thought they might never be capable of. It also keeps things fresh and insures that participants are regularly challenging their bodies and minds in novel ways.

These small group classes are limited to 4 participants and offer lots of individualized attention.

Big Shout Out to Tom and Janet who recently returned from their trip to New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji! Sea Kayaking, Hiking, Bridge-climbing, and para-gliding were all on the itinerary... and all were accomplished pain-free thanks to their dedication to their Pilates routine! Tom is pictured here doing Pulling Straps I on the reformer.

There are a couple interesting videos on this page about the foot corrector. Your feet are your foundation! They effect everything up the chain of your body! We are continuing to bring in more and more ways to address "release of" and "strengthening of" these often-ignored helpers.
