🛼 It's roller season! Use your pass to skate! 🛼

This summer, use your BPRD Fitness, Swim & Skate Pass for roller skating sessions at The Pavilion. View schedules and learn more about the sessions below on The Pavilion's Roller Skating webpage at www.bendparksandrec.org/facility/the-pavilion/ .

Additionally, now through September, The Pavilion skatepark features are included during Open Skate and Sunday Family Skate times. Roller skates, skateboards and scooters are allowed in the skatepark – sorry, no bikes.

Got a teen at home itching to stay active? We’ve got something new for them - Teen Fitness Center Circuit!

🕒 When: Thursdays, 1:30 - 2:15 p.m.
This age-appropriate, coached circuit-style workout is perfect for teens aged 12-17. Build strength, improve fitness, and gain confidence in a supportive environment! After the workout join Rec Swim from 2:30 - 4:00 p.m.

Also, we’re offering a Teen Fitness Center Orientation!
🕧 When: Thursdays, 12:30 - 1:15 p.m.
This orientation is required for teens ages 12-16 and covers safe equipment use, weight-training techniques, and fitness center etiquette. A parental waiver is needed.

✨ Pool party reservations going quickly - weekday spots available! ✨

Juniper expanded recreation swim parties to two time slots a day, seven days a week, for summer! It’s a fun option for celebrating birthdays or getting together with friends and family.

Each party reservation includes a private section of the grass area next to the Outdoor Activity Pool, plus a picnic table and shade structure.

Friday, June 19 marks the state and federal holiday of Juneteenth. It is celebrated to commemorate the ending of slavery in the United States. Learn more about the historical legacy of Juneteenth at https://nmaahc.si.edu/juneteenth.

The BPRD District Office and Park Services are closed in honor of the holiday. Larkspur Community Center, Juniper Swim & Fitness Center, and The Pavilion are open during regular business hours.

Juniper has resumed normal operations following the completion of our annual maintenance projects. 🎉

Work was completed on the Indoor 25-Meter Pool, Children's Pool and spa features, the north locker rooms, air handling units, painting, tile maintenance, deep cleaning, repairs, replacement of the dry sauna heater, rebuilding the hot tub motors and heat exchangers, and the addition of a water fountain. Outside, the North Parking off Hawthorne Ave. was repainted.

Thanks for your patience over the past couple of weeks as we maintain and enhance the facility.
