The body is the unconscious mind.
If there is a part of your body that feels frozen or numb, it is likely that has been, and is, storing trauma or chronic stress or overwhelm.
Mothering in the current human and social environment that many of us exist within in the western world is stressful and overwhelming. Many of us have lost the skills to mitigate the negative impact of daily stress and overwhelm on our bodies. This stress gets compounded over time and our bodies feel it.
Mothers: I see you and all your efforts to be committed to the mighty role it is to mother well. Your efforts are worthwhile. The stress you feel Israel. You are seen. You are loved. Happy Mother’s Day and I wish that this day brings you so much love and care and appreciation❤️
