Join us at 7pm on Thursday, April 10 for our monthly membership meeting at the VFW Hall on 4th and Olney in Bend. The meeting is FREE to the public.

Our speaker this month will be Amy Patrick from the Oregon Hunters Association to discuss the legislative landscape in Salem and how Oregon hunters and gun owners are protecting their heritage and leading the conversation. Amy Patrick is a gun owner, a hunter and is the Policy Director & Lobbyist for OHA. She is the spokesperson for OHA, and Oregon's sportsmen's community, in the Capitol and works with elected officials to prioritize OHA's mission of protecting Oregon's wildlife, habitat, and hunting heritage. Raised on a sixth generation farm she has a background in livestock, agriculture, and forestry. A diehard hockey fan, she'll talk your ear off about the Philadelphia Flyers. Visit oregonhunters.org

Here are a few things that make COSSA PARK special:

1) We are the LARGEST private gun range in the Pacific Northwest ( 600 acres)

2) We were the FIRST private gun club located on Federal land in Oregon. (Since 1994)

3) We are the ONLY private gun club located on Federal land in Oregon.

4) Our Long Range shooting areas are ranked amongst the best in the country with metal targets out to 1500 yards and beyond.

5) We allow 50 BMG, full-auto platforms and suppressors.

The bitter cold and deep snow are gone but it has left the park very muddy.

What a great weekend at COSSA park!!

Yes it’s cold but the sun is shining and winds are calm……….. perfect shooting conditions.

We also had 15 new members go through our orientation………. That makes about 40 new members total this month!!!

Please tell your friends about COSSA and bring people as guests.

THIS SATURDAY is the Silhouette Shoot. Starts at 10am

This is a fun and inexpensive way to test your pistol skills at various distances.

Cost is only $5 per gun.

This is a great way to practice your pistol skills with targets at 25,50,75 and 100 yards.

So break out that target pistol and come on out for some fun shooting.

Happy Tuesday COSSA members! We hope your week is going smooth and as planned.

Just wanted to remind everyone that tomorrow we have our monthly work party day. (Wednesday 12/18 at 10am)

This is a great opportunity to give a little bit of your time to help out at COSSA park. We will be cleaning up a few areas and making improvements in others.

This work is of great value to the club and at the same time you will earn $15/hr. towards your next year's dues.

So come on out, bring a lunch and beverage, and get ready to work a bit, have fun and meet some new shooting friends.

Good morning COSSA shooters,

Do the clouds and cooler weather have you preferring an indoor activity???

This Thursday (12/12) at 7pm is our COSSA monthly general meeting at the VFW hall on 4th street here in Bend.

Denny Jones (COSSA member) will be giving a presentation on handloading. He will be bringing along some of his own equipment to give a demonstration of the process.

Denny has extensive knowledge on this subject matter so this is a great time to ask an expert any question you may have on handloading.

These meeting are a great opportunity to get informed and involved with the club as well as meet some new shooting friends.

And as always, there will be coffee, cookies and our raffle give away of some really cool gun related items.

So come to the meeting, bring a friend and have an excellent evening of fun and entertainment!
