Can you believe it. Time flies when you're having fun. Yesterday was the 30th Anniversary of Bowlers Image Pro Shop. So officially I have been drilling bowling balls for 30 years. I can't believe it's been that long. I've seen a lot of changes through the years in the bowling industry. I wanted to thank all of you for the well wishes everyone sent. Look forward to the next 30 years.

Sometimes I comment on things on Facebook and a lot of times I don't. But when I saw this post about drilling a bowling balls I had to speak my peace to all of my friends and customers that I still drill for. I agree with the article below and reason I do is because this has my drilling philosophy for 27 years. This June it will be 28 years. Hard to believe. What kills me the majority of ball drillers drill everyone's hand measurements the same way. By that I mean that they drill the same pitches and generalize for all drillings. But I never did that. I always looked at the person's hand and let that be my guide on how to fit their ball. I once said a persons hand is like a story you start with the measuring of the the fingers and go from there when your are finished, you have a perfect fitted drilled bowling ball. I never was afraid to step outside the box and push it to the limits. I believed when I told someone this was custom drill it was a custom drill. Anyway, I find it funny now after all these years of drilling balls and arguing my point on fitting a ball with a few people that the industry is just now catching up. These people that proclaim themselves as the top Idealist and elite ball drillers are just now doing what I have been doing for almost 30 years. Kind of Funny Thanks for letting me vent I just felt like I needed a pat on the back.
