Hey. It’s me, your back yard dog.

I know it’s cold but I was hoping you would come check on me when you got home. I waited for you, you didn’t come. I barked because you forgot to feed me and give me fresh water, again. You yelled at me to be quiet. 😥

It’s late, The lights in the house went dark, you are probably in bed now and won’t come bring me in from the bitter cold. What did i do wrong? Why don’t you love me? I still love you....

Please if you won’t bring me inside and love me like family, will you find someone that will? Someone that would feed me every day and keep me warm and safe like i wish you would do. Because I still love you.

Please don’t forget about me again. I’m waiting for you....but it’s so cold and I’m lonely. 💔

-seems like she would do great with kiddos

💔 RIP!! Innocent Voiceless VICTIM 💔 Harris County Pets in Houston,TX showed NO MERCY!!

🌈MAMA JASMINE arrived at the shelter and lovingly took care of her puppies. One by one all of her puppies were adopted, and she was left sad and alone in the shelter. Today, January 8, 2025, she was euthanized for "space" and being in the shelter too long. We're heartbroken that she was never able to have a loving home of her own. There are other mama dogs at the shelter facing the same fate. We can't save sweet and friendly Mama Jasmine. Please help us save the other mamas and MANY other dogs that are facing death because their kennel space is needed.
RIP MAMA JASMINE, you deserved better!!!

2/3🌈Three year old SANDIE was euthanized today after arriving November 25. She was euthanized for being dog aggressive, but typically this a dog scared in the loud and overcrowded shelter. She was labeled aggressive on her arrival. Notice one volunteer commented in her notes that she wasn’t reactive walking all the way down the hall to the playground with dogs barking at her. She was never temperament tested outside to find if this was actually true.
