Benbrook Stables Horse Camp Benbrook Stables Equestrian Camp focuses on a fun, hands on experience with horses, to give children a full understanding of horsemanship.

Kids ages 5 and up will spend a fun filled day learning all about horses on a working horse ranch. Our campers will spend each day riding with our wonderful instructors while also getting hands on instruction in grooming, bathing and tacking up. They will also learn about safety around horses, proper nutrition and maintenance, anatomy and much more. We also have a lot of fun activities in store fo

r everyone. Some days we will go on hayrides, go on hikes or dig for fossils and even play equestrian related games. We do arts and crafts and lots of other fun activities.

🐴🌞 June 8–10, 2026 Summer Horse Camp Recap! 🌞🐴

What an incredible week at Benbrook Stables! Our June 8–10 campers spent three action-packed days learning, exploring, and making memories with their new four-legged friends. 🤠🐎

From the moment camp began, campers jumped into hands-on activities that taught them the basics of horse care and horsemanship. They practiced grooming, saddling, horse safety, and learned how to confidently work alongside horses both on the ground and in the saddle. ✨🪣🐴

When they weren't riding or working with horses, campers enjoyed hayrides, games, crafts, and plenty of laughs with new friends. 🚜🎨🎯❤️

Seeing each camper grow more comfortable around horses and gain new skills throughout the week was truly rewarding. We are so proud of all they accomplished and grateful to our camp families for being part of the Benbrook Stables family.

🐴☀️ June 1–5, 2026 Summer Horse Camp ☀️🐴

Our second week of Summer Horse Camp at Benbrook Stables was packed with learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories! 🤠❤️

Campers spent the week diving deeper into the world of horsemanship. They learned valuable skills such as grooming, bathing, tacking up, safely leading a horse, and even practicing their roping skills. Of course, they also enjoyed plenty of time in the saddle while building confidence and improving their riding abilities. 🐎🪣🪢✨

The fun didn't stop there! Campers enjoyed games, arts & crafts, hayrides, and lots of opportunities to make new friends and create lasting memories. 🎨🚜🎯❤️

One of the biggest highlights of the week was learning how to rope and how to safely lead a horse on their own! 🪢🐴 Watching campers gain confidence as they practiced handling horses independently was incredible. These hands-on skills help build responsibility, horsemanship knowledge, and a deeper connection with the horses. 🌟💪

We are so proud of all of our campers and everything they accomplished this week. Thank you to our amazing families for sharing your children with us. We can't wait for more fun, friendships, and horse-filled adventures as summer camp continues! ☀️🐴❤️

🐴☀️ Horse Camp Season Has Officially Begun at Benbrook Stables with out SummerYou Group! ☀️🐴

Last week kicked off our favorite time of the year—Horse Camp Season! 🤠🎉

Our campers rode into the world of horsemanship, learning all about horse care, grooming, tacking up, bathing, and the responsibilities that come with caring for these amazing animals as well as riding 🐎🧽🪣✨

Of course, it wasn't all work! Campers also enjoyed fun-filled days packed with games 🎯, arts & crafts 🎨, hayrides 🚜, and plenty of time making new friends. ❤️

One of the highlights of the week was learning and performing their group camp chants! 📣🎶 The campers showed incredible teamwork, spirit, and enthusiasm as they cheered on their groups and built confidence together. 💪🌟

We are so proud of all our campers and can't wait for the many memories still to come this summer! ☀️🐴❤️

Spring Break Horse Camp was an absolute blast! 🤠🐴

Our campers got hands-on with all things horses. Campers went from learning how to properly mount and ride Western, to weaving between poles and crossing beams like pros. They also learned horse markings and colors, practiced grooming safety, and spent time bonding with their new four-legged friends.

We mixed in tons of fun too—hayrides, making horse treats, crafts, games and more that kept everyone smiling all week long!

It flew by way too fast, and we’re already missing our campers so much 💛 Can’t wait to do it all again this summer!

Our final Riding Academy of Summer 2025 wrapped up beautifully — and we’re honestly a little sad to see it go. 💔

One of our favorite weeks of the summer — and it went off without a hitch!

Have a child who dreams of having a horse of their own? 🐎❤️
Riding Academy Camp gives them an inside look at the dedication, responsibility, and joy that come with horse ownership.

Throughout the week, our campers got hands-on experience feeding, grooming, tacking, and of course… riding! 🎉 They also dove into lessons about horse care, barn safety, and what it takes to be a true horseman or horsewoman.

We’re beyond proud of these young riders and all they accomplished. We can’t wait to welcome the next crew of future cowboys and cowgirls! 🤠🌾🐴

What a week! Horse Camp has come to an exciting end once again. 🌞🐴 We’re so thankful the rain stayed away 🌤️ and we packed every moment with fun — from riding lessons 🐎 and grooming time 🧼 to games, laughs, and hands-on horsemanship! 🤠👏
