Great win for our Beavers

BEMIDJI, Minn. — Bemidji State University Football defeated Southwest Minnesota State University, 38-0, on Saturday. Bemidji State held Southwest Minnesota State to 57 total yards and an 0-for-14 mark on third down.

🏈🍺 BBS/BBSRN COLLEGE FOOTBALL PICK’EM — WEEK 1 RESULTS! 🍺🏈

Well… after all the trash talk, expert analysis, gut feelings and complete BS, TRAVIS IS SITTING ALONE AT THE TOP! 😂🏆

North Dakota State beat Fordham 38-0, but with the Bison laying 41.5 points, FORDHAM COVERED! Travis was the ONLY ONE of us brave — or dumb enough 😂 — to take the Rams.

Then Minnesota handled Eastern Illinois 59-7 and covered the -42.5, giving Travis the clean 2-0 SWEEP!

And apparently Travis had a little fun battling an NDSU fan online afterward:

“Travis is idiot for the only one to pick correctly today…. Tough look B**r Belly Sports” 🤣🤣

Turns out the “idiot” is the only guy sitting at 2-0!

The guys break down the Minnesota Vikings and make their season predictions, with a surprise guest jumping in to give a prediction of their own.

They also get into the Minnesota Gophers, and Bruce is VERY high on the Gophers this year. The optimism is flowing, which naturally leads to Matt and Bruce putting a couple of Shot Bets on the line — and there are definitely more Shot Bets coming as the season rolls along. 🍻
The guys also talk about the Minnesota Wild and Timberwolves moving to different networks and streaming platforms, and how frustrating it can be for fans trying to figure out where the hell they’re supposed to watch their teams.

And because it’s Labor Day weekend, we somehow learn that Bruce loves chick flicks. 😂

🏈 OVER/UNDER PICK’EM — NDSU vs. FORDHAM 🏈

The Bison are back in Fargo, and today NDSU is a MASSIVE 41.5-point favorite over Fordham. That means the question isn’t really who wins… it’s whether the Bison can cover FOUR TOUCHDOWNS, TWO FIELD GOALS AND THEN SOME. 😂

And apparently almost everybody in B**r Belly Sports thinks they can.

🟢🟡 NDSU -41.5: Bruce, Scott, Matt, Dustin, Vince, Justin, Sam & TJ
🐏 Fordham +41.5: Travis — all by himself on Rams Island.

Bruce’s reasoning might be the most scientifically sound of the week: after taking his last shot last night, he just had a feeling NDSU was going to win. 🥃😂

Scott? Automatic NDSU pick. No discussion needed.

Matt & Dustin? They don’t care. Give ’em the Bison and move on. 😂

Vince — our self-appointed Minnesota Sports Governor — is still trying to figure out why the hell he’s making picks on an NDSU game… but he’s taking the Bison anyway.

Justin’s entire breakdown: “EASY.”

Sam: “Gimme the Bison here.”

And then there’s TJ, the leader of Bison Bitz, who didn’t hesitate:

“OVER.”

His reasoning? Fordham is one of the lowest-rated teams in the FCS, and they apparently haven’t even had a conference Player of the Week since 2003. 😳

BUT THEN THERE’S TRAVIS… 😂🐏

“Against MY Fordham Rams?? You do know that they’ve sent 73 players to the NFL. Vince Lombardi graduated from that school in 1937 while playing fullback and guard. A school with rich football history, against a school with the worst of the worst fans in sports. GIVE ME THE RAMS TO COVER.”

So there you have it: 8 Bison. 1 Ram. And Travis came prepared with a history lesson and violence.
