After a ton of thought and back and forth we have made the decision that we are not going to have another tournament this summer for the MMT. It is a tough decision but as many of you know Ashley and I have a lot of irons in the fire. We have two girls and our family is at the busiest point in our lives that we will be. Time is a valuable thing in life and you learn that the older you get! The toughest part was trying to find a weekend that would fit our schedule and the anglers and we could not find one that would work. Theres a lot of time and commitment from you the anglers that goes into these tournaments and we did not want to put this on unless we could fully commit and do it right for you.
With that being said we are super greatful for everyone that joined us along the way whether it was fishing the tournament, helping us run the tourney or just following along! We may not have had hundreds of teams or huge crowds at weigh-ins but we are proud to say that we paid out 110% of the money to the anglers!! This was not a money grab it was tourney for the angler by the angler. We are proud that new friendships were made and old ones strengthened! We’re proud that we got youth involved in the outdoors! We were proud of all the anglers helping us with that!
