EVERY TRUE DOJO STANDS ON RESPECT BEFORE TECHNIQUE.
A dojo is not built on belts alone—it is built on discipline, humility, and respect. At the top stands the Shihan, the senior master who carries the responsibility of preserving and guiding the art, followed by instructors such as the Sensei and Shidoin, while Sempai help guide those who are newer to the journey. Every student, from beginner to advanced, learns that rank comes with responsibility—not ego. The commands Seiza, Mokuso, Rei, and Kiritsu are more than words; they are rituals that teach stillness, awareness, humility, and discipline. When you learn how to sit, bow, listen, and stand with respect, you begin to understand that karate starts with character before it ever becomes technique.
