Belton Varsity Softball wrapped up the Greater Kansas City Tournament today with a 3-2 record, earning 3rd place out of 24 teams.

Weekend offensive leaders:
C. Newman: 7-for-14, 5 RBI, 2 2Bโ€™s
C. Bandy: 5-11, 5 RBI, 1 double
A. Hull: 5-12, 5 RBI, 1 2B
E. Bryant: 6 RBI
A. Roberts: 5 stolen bases

C. Bandy delivered an outstanding performance in the circle, recording 26 strikeouts with 3 wins!

Tryouts today will be at Yeokum Center until 9:00 due to a lightning delay and field conditions.

Due to excessive high temps this upcoming week, we will be changing our tryouts time to 7:30-10:30 AM at the same location (JV Field) for both Monday and Tuesday.

We wrapped up our 2026 Belton Softball Camp this week and both our high school and youth groups brought great energy every day!

Our athletes worked hard and showed the kind of growth that makes us excited for the future of Belton Softball.

Thank you to all our campers and families for the support. The future Pirates are looking strong and we canโ€™t wait to keep building this program!

MSHSAA Dead Week is August 3-9. No activities during this time.
