GENERAL TECH INFORMATION
CLONE CLASSES:
All Box Stock Clone Classes will run 2022 NKA engine rules*. ... * (SERIES RULE: NO 196R/RS TILLOTSON REINFORCED CASTING BLOCKS ALLOWED) ...
BRIGGS FLATHEAD: All flathead classes will be open pipe (no silencer/muffler) ... WKA Briggs Flathead rules apply ...
CHAMP KARTS:
Champ Karts must comply with 2022 WKA Champ Kart rules, safety equipment requirements* and frame/cage specifications.
*safety equipment includes, but not limited to, approved helmet/neckbrace/gloves/shoulder harness/seat belts/arm restraints/quick release steering wheel.
TIRES:
Maxxis HT3 only for all classes
FUEL:
Gas ... FRESH 87 octane ethanol/gasoline mix from designated purchase location ... no additives allowed
Methanol ... 100% methanol ... no additives or lubricants allowed
PEEWEE CLASSES:
Driver Ages 5-7
NKA Red Plate (.375") Clone ... Small pipe/silencer ... 235lb Min Weight ...
14" maximum body/nose height (from ground to highest point on nose/body) ... no steering shaft fairings/visors allowed.
Chest protectors are mandatory for all PeeWee Class drivers, and must be presented at pre-tech.

RESTRICTOR CLASSES:
The following color/size restrictor plates will be in effect:
Junior 1 ... Green Plate .425” ... 265 lbs ... small pipe/silencer ... ages 8-10
Junior 2 ... Purple Plate .500” ... 290 lbs ... small pipe/silencer... ages 10-12
Junior 3 ... Blue Plate .550” ... 320 lbs ... small pipe/silencer ... ages 12-15
Junior King ... Purple Plate .500” ... 300 lbs ... small pipe/silencer... ages 10-15
JUNIOR KING ClASS: Only drivers entered in Junior 2 or Junior 3 Classes are eligible to run Junior King ... Junior 1 drivers are not eligible to run Junior King Class
JUNIOR BODIES:
14” maximum nose/body height for PeeWee, Junior Predator, JR 1, and JR 2 karts, ... measured from ground to highest point on nose/body ... no steering shaft fairings/visors allowed ... BODY HEIGHT WILL BE CHECKED ...
HELMETS:
Helmets must meet 2022 NKA helmet specifications/requirements (minimum 2010 Snell rating)
CHEST PROTECTORS:
Chest protectors are mandatory for all PeeWee, Junior Predator, JR 1, and JR 2 drivers.
WEIGHTS/BALLAST:
All weights, including seat weight, must be bolted and double nutted.
All bolt-on weight must be white in color.
All weight added to meet minimum kart/driver weight requirements shall be bolted and safety wired to the kart with a minimum 5/16 or 8mm through bolt. Weight over 7 pounds will require a minimum single 3/8 bolt, or two 5/16 bolts. All bolts are to use double nuts, with threads of at least 1/4" still visible.
Weight mounted to the seat must use a large washer to prevent the head of the bolt from pulling through the seat.
Carrying of ballast on the driver’s person is prohibited.
No weight may be mounted to the underside of the chassis.
No weight may be mounted to the rear bumper.
MINIMUM DRIVER WEIGHT:
For classes requiring a minimum driver weight, drivers will be weighed with safety equipment (helmet, jacket, neck support, gloves)
Carrying of ballast/weight on the driver's person is prohibited
Drivers are subject to weight check at any time during the event.
NUMBERS/PANELS:
All karts must display 4 legible numbers on body ... front nose, each side panel, and rear bumper.
CAMERA MOUNTING:
Up to two (2) cameras (Go Pro or similar) per kart is allowed.
Cameras must be hard mounted by bolt and nut to a driver fairing or top of body panel. Mounting by use of any form of adhesive is prohibited.
Cameras on Champ Karts must be mounted to the nose body only ... no mounting allowed to frame or roll cage.
Mounting any camera to the helmet in any way is prohibited at all times. This includes any form of mounting to the shell of the helmet, or the mounting of any type of video or camera system inside the helmet, such as in the viewport..
PROTEST /CLAIM:
All classes: The driver of the kart must file protest/claim before his kart leaves the scale pad. The driver of the kart is the only person allowed to protest/claim an engine. Any outside coercion to influence a driver to protest/claim a motor will not be allowed.

PRE- RACE INSPECTION:
All karts must be presented for pre-race inspection, and comply with all required items, before receiving an inspection sticker.
No karts will be allowed on the track at any time without an affixed inspection sticker.
