Venom 12u had a solid outing this weekend. Came up short of the championship. Girls played had and battled back before the championship to get a walk off. In the championship a few costly errors gave way for a 3-4 loss in final inning.

Girls Finished the weekend with a 4-1 record and some 2nd place hardware.

Pitchers were dealing and bats started warming up today. On to the next week ladies!

Venom 12u played in Milwaukee this weekend and finished a hard fought 4-2. 3rd place and improving.
They played 3 games back to back to back saturday and then 3 in a row today.
Took the 7th seed with a 2-1 pool play record. Worked thru the bracket and knocking out the 1 seed the second game in the gold bracket.

Pitchers:

18 earned runs

Offense:
.382 batting average for the team
50 hits
7 doubles
3 triples
1 in the park homer

And 48 runs scored

Defense:

Beloit Venom 12u got the chance to play 14u this weekend. These girls played up and did great. 3-3 record for the weekend and took 4th place.

-Some stats that can be bragged about-
•42 runs scored
•33 earned runs against
•.374 batting average against
•.373 team batting average
•6 doubles and 2 triples

Pitchers had a good showing with 22 strike outs on the weekend.

These girls played 4 games today back to back to back to back. They held their own and we couldn’t be more proud. Good weekend ladies and lets get the next one!

Beloit Venom 12u had a few scrimmages this past weekend against some 14u teams. Heres a few takeaways from them!

•17 runs scored
•11 runs against
•.486 team batting average
•18 hits
• 8 stolen bases
• fielding percentage of .900
•.261 batting average against
•only 4 earned runs from the games

Girls first time at 14u distance as a team and they did some damage. Way to go girls and lets place next weekend in the 14u division then.

Hard work now makes rest of the season easier.

Beloit Venom Fastpitch 12u is looking for one more player to complete the roster.
$500 a year to play plus little fundraising. Last year we played in 92 games.
