These 4 STAT swimmers tackled the 100m 🦋 this evening!

Emerson swam this for the very first time and did wonderfully!

Molly, Ava and Layla all dropped a huge amount of time for new personal best times!

🚨 🚨 🚨 New State Qualifying Time!!! 🚨 🚨 🚨

⏱️Lilly just clocked a 33.06s in her 11-12 50m free, earning her a new state cut!

What a day for 3 of our Stateline swimmers!

Lilly, Layla and Ava competed against swimmers from 14 different regions/states that make up our Central Zone-including Oklahoma to North Dakota to Michigan. They had to have an “A” time in a distance event to qualify for this event.

🌊 Lilly and Layla finished their 11-12 year old 2500m swim finishing 42 and 44 out of 50 swimmers!! They swam smooth and steady as the winds picked up creating some waves out on the lake.

Lilly swam in a time of 42:54.83.
Layla had a time of 44:31.66.

🌊 Ava finished her 10&U 1250m swim with a time of 21:14.36 for a 10th place finish out of 29 swimmers!!

Open water swimming is a different animal as swimmers are challenged with dark waters, waves, other swimmers and no lane lines!!

All three asked when the next OWS is; they are ready for more!!

This evening a few of our STAT swimmers attended the Open Water Central Zone Championships Clinic. They got to meet the Team Wisconsin coaches, get all registered for tomorrow, practice starts, buoy turns and a slap finish. They are all excited and ready for tomorrow! The weather outside was not nice at all so they moved it all indoors!

🚨 🚨 🚨 New State Qualifying Time 🚨 🚨 🚨

Lili R clocked her first State Cut this past weekend in the girls 9-10 100m Breaststroke!

She had a whopping 8.37s time drop for a new time of 1:49.91!!

Way to go, Lili!! What an incredible swim! 👏 💪🏻
