Crazy video! We’ve been saying it for years, but we have a lot of bobcats. It’s time to look at getting a tag for them more often than what it is today.

Now’s your chance to comment on deer hunting in your zone. Make sure that you take the time to do so. Better yet, fill out the survey and then go to the county meeting later this month! You can make a difference!

Don’t forget to scroll down and hit the submit button. 10+ years of doing this and they still hide the button at the end! I bet that many people fill this out and think they submitted it, but it doesn’t go anywhere!

The DNR and Citizen Deer Advisory Councils (CDACs) are seeking public feedback on Wisconsin's deer management, including harvest quotas, management zones and more ahead of the 2026 deer season.

You can help shape local deer herd management preferences by providing input during the online input period (April 4-12). This feedback will be discussed by the CDACs as they develop local recommendations for the DNR.

You can also participate in-person by attending the CDAC meetings (April 20-30). Join the discussion about local deer management and provide input on deer season details. Meetings include a review and discussion of current unit data on harvest trends, herd health, the deer hunter experience and deer/human conflict issues like crop and property damage.

The CDAC meetings are posted on the Citizen Deer Advisory Council webpage and on the DNR's Events Calendar.
