This Saturday, Gaston County Rugby is partnering with the Carolinas Rugby Union to host the club championships in Gastonia. We have also partnered with The Solidarity Closet of Gastonia and will be taking donations to support their cause. 12 pm at Martha Rivers Park, the first match kicks off. Free admission! If you are interested in donating, please feel free to message me or show up to the field with your items!

MATCH DAY is almost here.

Gaston County Rugby Club is heading to American Legion Memorial Stadium this Saturday as we take on the Charlotte Royals Rugby Football Club at 10:20 AM to kick off a full day of rugby in Charlotte.

Stick around after our match and catch Anthem Rugby Carolina as they face off against the Chicago Hounds at 4 PM. Big shoutout to Anthem Rugby for bringing high-level professional rugby to our backyard.

We may even see a few appearances from the Hell Hounds, so be ready for a great atmosphere all day long.

Make it a full day of rugby. Come out early, support your local club, and stay for the pros.

After the match, stop by our tailgate to meet the team, hang out, and talk rugby.

What a day on the pitch! 🏉

The Gargoyles traveled to Johnson City today and came away with a hard-fought 31–19 win. Huge thanks to Johnson City Rugby Club for hosting us and for the great sportsmanship throughout the match.

💥 Shoutout: Colin Ardrey for earning his first boot — well deserved!

We’re already looking forward to the rematch in November.

What a great day for rugby at Martha Rivers Park!

Thank you to Clayton Rugby Football Club for making the trip and bringing the intensity for a fun, hard-fought match. The Gargoyles fell short 27–3, but it was a great day of rugby and camaraderie all around.

Congratulations to our Man of the Match, Colin Ardrey, for his outstanding performance on the field.

We also want to thank Clayton RFC for allowing us to use some of their photos from the match and give special credit to Jennifer Culkin for capturing the action.

Gaston County Rugby is excited to announce that player registration is officially open. If you’re looking to play rugby this year, now is the time to get signed up!

All players must complete registration (CIPP) and pay dues through Rugby Xplorer in order to be rostered and eligible for matches.
