Takedowns aren’t “extra credit.” They’re how you decide where the fight goes. At Kraken, we train takedowns a lot—grip fighting, entries, finishes, and the control that follows—so you can learn how to effectively take an opponent to the ground and neutralize the threat. It’s fun, it’s safe, and yeah… it’s hard work.

DM “TAKEDOWN” and we’ll get you in for a trial class.

Women’s Self-Defense + BJJ is tonight — just like every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, 5:00–6:30 PM.

Come learn practical self-defense, get a great workout, and meet a group of supportive women in a safe, clean environment. All experience levels are welcome — even if you’ve never trained before.

Cost: Free (always)
How to join: Register in advance, or show up 15 minutes early to complete the quick paperwork.

Our kids class has been getting after it lately! 💥

Takedowns and drills, hard rounds and nonstop movement, these kids are showing up ready to work and improve every single class. The best part isn’t just the techniques they’re learning — it’s the confidence, discipline, and teamwork they’re building along the way.

It’s awesome watching them push themselves, support each other, and have fun while doing it. The future of the gym is looking strong! 👊🥋
