You know those days when your day doesn't seem to follow your intentions. Well, hopefully it doesn't happen often, but when it does, like it did for me today, you can always think about the number 3. A fitness/nutrition guru once taught me that if you, how should I say, over ate in one meal, you make the next 3 smaller and better. If you blew the whole day, you make the next 3 days much better. You can use the same formula with your exercise/movement routine.
Back to today...I didn't get into the day the exercise I was planning on doing because other appointments went much longer than anticipated. I did manage to do 20 minutes, but not the hour I was intending. So, I though of that fitness/nutrition guru. 3 more workouts much better coming up!

Walking has become such a big part of my fitness goals and in doing that, so many other things come to the surface and get beautified, so to speak. I mean I get to be in nature, always wonderful, get to see what the birds are up to, seals, little crawly things. How the sun meets the water. How many people have come out to be a part of this scenario. And on the inside, my mind gets clear, my lungs appreciate the fresh air and challege of walking fast, my body really appreciates it, and I get to appreciate how my waistline in scooting inward. Recently, the pelicans were out there in groups, just hanging out. For a while there, they weren't getting enough food because the fish were swimming lower in the water. But here, they looked pretty happy. What's your favorite activity that hits so many cylinders, you have no problem repeating?

On my walk this morning, which was beautiful by the way, I saw this guy just sitting in the pickle grass. Not like them to stay so still with people so close moving by. So I called the wild life rescue. When I returned from my walk, he was gone and the person at the center said someone was sent out. Hope the beautiful bird is okay, and thank you for coming and getting it.
