This image documents intentional vandalism to the #7 green at BCC, caused by using the bottom of the flagstick. This destructive behavior will not be tolerated. Anyone caught causing intentional damage anywhere on the golf course will be held financially responsible for all repair costs and faces immediate suspension of course privileges. If you see anyone causing intentional damage, please notify a BCC Board member. Please help us keep the course in playable condition for all patrons. Thank you.

On Monday at 5:30 PM, we are seeking volunteers to help with upkeep around the course. We will be filling holes with dirt, spreading grass seed, continuing work on the women’s #9 tee box, etc. Please bring garden tools and w**d eaters.

2026 Belmond Country Club Mixed League begins June 15th.

This is a mixed (men/women) league. Your handicap will level the playing field.

LOCAL LEAGUE RULES (INTEGRITY FIRST)
• USGA Rules Apply: Follow standard USGA regulations.
• No "Gimme" Putts: Every ball must be holed out.
• Play It As It Lies: No moving the ball, with one fairway exception.
• 6-Inch Fairway Rule: You may improve your lie within 6 inches on the fairway only.
• Clean Muddy Balls: Pick, clean, and place on the fairway or fringe (not in the rough).
• Ground Under Repair: Standard local course relief rules apply.

TEES & HANDICAPS
• Standard Play: Men play from the Blue tees; Women play from the Red tees.
• Senior Option (65+): Choose Blue or Yellow tees (must stick to one color per 9 holes).
• Fair Scoring: Your official handicap automatically balances the playing field.

LEAGUE FORMAT
• Individual Teams: Single-player format.
• Weekly Play: 1 round of 9 holes per week.
• Flexible Tee Times: Self-organize in groups of 2 or more players.
• No Solo Rounds: At least two players per group required for accountability.

ABSENCE POLICY
• 3 Scores Dropped: Your worst 3 rounds of the season are automatically ignored.
• No Penalty: Missing a few weeks will not hurt your overall standings.

NET STABLEFORD SCORING
• Double Bogey or Worse: 0 pts
• Bogey: 1 pt
• Par: 2 pts
• Birdie: 3 pts
• Eagle: 4 pts
• Albatross: 5 pts
