Guards is an athletic program where children ages 9-17 train daily for local, regional, and national competitions in events such as the distance run, ocean swim, rescue board race, and the always exciting, often competitive, adrenaline-inducing beach flags. To our incredible staff… THANK YOU. ❤️🌊

If you’ve ever wondered how a program with a million kids, tournaments, beach days, and controlled chaos actually works… it’s because of this crew.

They somehow survived a summer with me running a very tight ship (which honestly deserves some kind of medal 🫡😂).

Every early morning, every lost Block the Blaze hat, every board rash, every “Can we have free swim?”, every missing water bottle, every scraped knee, every pep talk, every laugh, and every challenge in between… you showed up with patience, energy, and heart.

This program simply wouldn’t run without these amazing people. And we can’t forget our Belmar Lifeguards, DPW, Recreation Department, Belmar Police Department, and everyone behind the scenes who helps keep this program running safely every single day.

Here’s to another incredible summer… and to continuing to build the Belmar pipeline—raising the next generation of lifeguards, one whistle, one wave, and one “Can we have free swim?” at a time. ❤️💛🌊
