We have been working hard and ystdy we finally made it up the hill to go play in the snow. The Artic Cat 500 panther fired right up. The 700 had a brake left on all summer so we had to loosen it with a screw driver. We burned up 2 Dills trying to drill some holes. We will be up grading to electric Auger this year. We didn't catch any fish but the lake had a solid 8" of ice and it's on the list of go to destinations this winter. Overall it was an excellent day. Talon hopped on the 500 panther and rode all day with no issues. Great job Talon!!

Epic day on the ice for our first trip. Tesla walked away from her pole after an hour of no action, as soon as she walked out the door of the shelter a monster fish stole her pole and rod holder. Talon and Tesla both had an atomic ant fly . Talon lands the first fish and it was a beauty. We forgot the pan to boil water for hot chocolate and ramen so we decided to head home. I wanted to head back to the area where I was hunting elk and I lost my butt stock rifle pad . We ventured out and discovered that the steam was loaded with sucker's. Woo hoo SCORE! And I look down and there's the pad for my rifle, almost 2 months later
