MONDAY NIGHT SCRAMBLE RESULTS FROM BGRC

The Monday Scrambles were played on August 31 with 15 players participating.

Ist place team with -7 were David Marek, Chuck King, Rick Lowe, Marty Rolls and Josh Novickie.

Chris Nolen won CTP on hole #3.
No one hit it inside the pin length on hole #6 so that prize rolls over to next week.

The club is doing a 50/50 raffle for every Monday Night Scramble. Tickets are $5/each and are good for the entire season. If a winning ticket is drawn, that winner has to draw from a deck of cards trying to pull the winning card – Queen of Hearts. ½ goes to the winner who draws the Queen of Hearts the other ½ goes to the BGRC. Raffle tickets are currently on sale at the clubhouse for $5/each. You must be present for the drawing to have a shot at the Queen.

Tickets drawn this week were: David Marek – 3 of Clubs and Larry Carello - Queen of Hearts and the winner! The MGA will start a new raffle starting with the Labor Day 18 hole tournament on September 7 and continue through the end of the scramble season.

Results from Dog Days Scramble / August 22

24 teams participated in the tournament this year. All proceeds go towards improvements at BGRC. Thanks to Tracey Faterkowski and David Marek for running the event, Allen Ladig for serving the meal, Gabby and Tom for their work on the putting contest and in the Pro Shop and to Victor and the grounds crew for having the course in great condition.

Three teams tied for the win with -7. After the scorecard playoff the winning teams were:
Ist – David Marek, Chuck King, Dennis Hansen, Josh Novickie and Charley Smith.
2nd – Bryant Pilcik, Bronson Pilcik, Jason Pavlicek and Vince Ruffino.
3rd – Casey Hollomon, Dyer Smith, Dustin Hargrave, Charley Hughey and Mark Montgomery.

Dyer Smith won CTP on hole #3.

The MGA is bringing back the President's Cup this year. Date is Saturday, August 15.

-Format is individual stroke play flighted by handicap. 10am shotgun start.
-Playing the Par 70 TPC Bellville course.
-Open to all men and women of BGRC.
-Cost if $50/player plus $30 MGA dues if not already paid. Payout per flight based on the number of entries.
-Limited to the first 36 players to sign up.
