⚔️ New Indoor Training Spot Secured! 🛡️

We’re excited to announce that the Barbarian crew now has an indoor space for soft kit training at Whatcom Wrestling Academy!

This means more consistent conditioning, drills, and technique work, rain or shine. Ideal for newcomers to get started and for experienced fighters to sharpen their skills without the full armor.

🗓️ Practice Times:
• Wednesdays — 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Sundays — 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

📍Whatcom Wrestling Academy, Bellis Fair Mall
Come move, hit, and train with us, no armor required!

Big congratulations to Manuel York and J***y Porter with Vagabonds- Seattle Area Buhurt, on tonight's fights at the ACMF Tournament in Dallas Texas! Both fighters performed incredibly tonight and it was an amazing way to end 2024!

As we're approaching the holiday season things are starting to slow down event wise. Although not nearly as sexy as learning take downs or how to swing a great sword, recovery and rehabilitation is one of the most important aspects of training in this sport. Being able to recover quickly and effectively will greatly improve your ability as a fighter, and more importantly help improve your overall quality of life. Whether it's recovering for the short term in between rounds, or something long term, say post or in-between events, everyone has their own methods. We've heard of fighters doing everything from deep stretching to cold plunges. What do you do for recovery? Tell us in the comments!

Are you looking for a way to stay warm this winter? Consider coming out for practice this Sunday at 12pm and we'll make sure you're nice and warm by the time we're done!

This Sunday Captain Gage will be going over two handed weapons focusing on footwork, striking, and power generation! And like most practices we'll have open sparring to wrap it up.
