Had a great weekend competing at the San Juan Open! Was able to put a solid tournament together through 3 rounds on a beautiful island course with fierce competition! Got my second MA1 win, and this one felt great. Beautiful course and a solid event run by some great people.

Was also a great time hanging out with friends on Brown Island for the weekend between the rounds, and kicking back with a beer and the great view at the end. Looking forward to coming back to Roche Harbor Disc Golf to defend next year!

Got down to Delphi to play the Ragnar Rip this weekend. Was beautiful weather, beautiful course, and great to play with some new people!

Went in blind just wanting to see where things would land and had a blast. Shot my rating round 1 while watching a scorching -13 (1065 rated) round out of Kaden and wound up on chase card for day 2.

Round 2 I pushed things a little more and had some bad wind reads that landed me in hazards and OB a little more, so didn't have as solid a score but was still a blast. Looking forward to playing more this season!

Can't forget that I made out like a bandit in the raffle, new set of disc mania Proto P2's, a crispy bacon Pig, and a new whalesac! Thanks Jeff for putting on a great event!

Had a blast yesterday at our spring iteration of Matchplay between Whatcom and Van City! Weather was amazing, had a great crew, and the course played fantastic. In the end, VCU came out with the tight win and we had to leave the trophy north of the border. Looking forward to winning it back in the fall!

Was not expecting that, but there's another milestone hit!

Had a blast kicking off the year with my first sanctioned round at Week 1 of Blaine Spring League yesterday. Had amazing weather and took down the weekly win with the hot round of the night and my first ever 1000 rated round!

Great card and super vibes with Jimmy Archer and Dylan Meenk and loved seeing so many of the Far From Par Disc Golf crew out there! Looking forward to the rest of the league and the year ahead!

Had the super cool opportunity to go out and support Kurt Dolphays and the kids of and at large at Vanderyacht Park yesterday.

Kurt put on an epic disc golf clinic for kids ranging from probably 5-16yo with over 20 coming out to learn how to play our sport!

Kids (and parents) learned the basic rules of disc golf, how to throw both forehand and backhand, and how to putt. We then got all the kids on the course with their new provided putters for a short 3 hole round and finished off with a putting ring of fire and prizes.

The future of disc golf in our community is looking good, it was amazing to see all the smiles on the faces of these kids. Big thanks to the City of Ferndale and Kurt Dolphays for making this happen! Looking forward to the next one!

Saw that I was about to hit my 500th recorded round on uDisc, and the timing was perfect to try out a new course!

Gaffney's was fun, and even better once I linked up with a local after I parked hole 8's basket.....from the teepad of 5 because I didn't understand what I was throwing at! I was throwing through a group and when they said "that was crushed" it oddly didn't sound good.....figured out why when I eventually saw and walked past the basket I was supposed to be aiming at!

All in all, fun course! Excited for more upcoming disc golf adventures, and pretty cool to have 500 recorded rounds now!

Had a blast at my first tournament of the year! Played two rounds of 27 at the SeaTac Open and just had fun and shot my game. I figured even par was going to be pretty competitive and it turns out it was good enough for T2 in MA1!

Had a couple of great cards out there and got to meet some great people. Super stoked for my new Team jersey, showing off the plastic all over the course and my putting was absolutely on fire yesterday!

definitely representes down there, as we had two folks make the trek and took number 1 and 2 in MA1. Was great playing with and seeing him tear down the course.

Now looking ahead to the next tournaments I'm running with , if you aren't signed up for Wander the Woods (Aug 31-Sep1) or our Bloktoberfest Birdie Derby on Sep 7, hit us up for details or register on discgolfscene!

There were just under 50 people who showed up in the rain last night for the clinic with in Ferndale! Was a great time, big thanks to Scott for coming out and sharing your experience and "rules" for throwing, for making this event happen for us up here in Whatcom County and spreading the word, and Marcus Nightingale for the recommendation to shift venues to get out of the rain!

If you weren't able to make it out but still want to try some plastic from Scott's new disc golf line, will have some of his new Wren putter and Cardinal midrange in stock starting today!

Excited to be a part of team this year! The space motif goes great with my favorite stamps from my other sponsor, as I return for a third year with !

Not a ton of playing planned for this year, but excited to continue to make more disc golf more accessible to Whatcom County with and , and stoked to have these companies backing me while I'm doing it. See you on the course!
