Final Day of gear testing and it was so much fun photographing the Sounders.

It was also a great win for them, winning 2-0 against Real Salt Lake.

The last weekend with the Sony gear and I went out to and matches. I also brought an A1-II to some real estate shoots and the results were excellent.

I used the 300mm F/2.8 and I have to say it was one of my favorite lenses to use for soccer. I also had he 50-150 F/2 on the second camera. The images out of both cameras were stellar. I am very pleased with the edited photos. I plan on doing a portrait shoot and a Sounders match before everything goes back to Sony on Thursday. I am very impressed by the performance of these cameras and lenses.

Day 2 of my Sony gear tests. After a lot of working through the menus, learning the differences, I got more comfortable with the system.

I have made the decision to move over to Sony as that system will be able to support me and my team a bit better than Canon. I have been a very loyal Canon shooter for nearly 15 years and I will still keep one Canon camera on-hand for educational purposes and backup, I will begin to sell off my Canon gear this week.

Some of you have asked why I would switch. I will answer that in another post. if any of you are interested in gear, send me a message. Thanks!

It is fall season and college soccer has started! Way to go with two goals against Penn St. That first one was a ROPE!

This season marks a big change in cameras. I am considering switching to Sony cameras from Canon. I have built my craft using Canon DSLR's and then mirrorless since 2012. I had about an hour with the Sony A1 II before I brought them to the game tonight. Overall, I am excited with the results. I have 7 more games this weekend to run the Sonys through their paces. It's going to be a fun weekend!
