Basketball season is coming up and UW has released their schedule. I have not received my schedule yet but I do know I will be calling the Southern at UW game on November 18, 2025 and I am SUPER excited about that as I have a lot of friends that attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA.

I am also relauching my Legends of Basketball podcast and my first guest will be Southern University Legend and former Seattle Suprrsonic Avery Johnson. It will be released sometime before the Southern vs UW game and will be a show you do not want to miss👊🏾

All Team and Player of the Year announced.

So the best player I saw in Dylan Harper didn’t make 1st, 2nd or 3rd Team All Big 10.

If Braden Smith is the best player in the Big 10 then I don’t know anything about basketball.

Wesley Yates had a FANtastic year for USC as well!

My Boys Purple Reign AAU Team is back and we won our first tournament of the Fall AAU season going 4-0.

We did not have a chance to practice with all of our players as the most we had attend practice was 3 players so I’m excited to see how good they can be if we practice.

The basketball world lost two legends from the coaching world recently in John Thompson of Georgetown and Lute Olson of Arizona to players in Cliff Robinson of the Portland Trailblazers and Demetreus Gore of PITT. It’s been a tough week for basketball fans.

Coming soon I’ll be launching a Digital Sports Show called “Runnin With The Pac” covering UW, Pac 12 and NBA Hoops if we have a basketball season and another Podcast Show titled “In The Bonus” with Eldridge Recasner.

I’m going to try and bring you stories from some of the BIGGEST names in the history of basketball from Oscar Robertson and Lenny Wilkens to Jamal Crawford and Nate Robinson. I want to share the role sports played in their lives as it relates to Race Relations as we are in the midst of one of the toughest times in America in my 52 years on this earth.

I’m excited to host an event to honor the great Lenny Wilkens and try to make sure his legacy lives on forever here in the greater Seattle community.

I’m sorry but this FREE youth basketball clinic is over capacity as it filled up with over 100 kids in the first 2 hours that registration was open.

My 8th Grade Boys squad has been invited to Las Vegas to play in Dinos Trigonis’ tournament August 1st-4th. We are looking forward to playing against some tough competition.

My 8th Grade Boys team won their first tournament this weekend. The Premier Summer Showcase was held at Pacific Courts and Hidden Valley Boys and Girl Club in Bellevue. We’ve only been together a little over a month.

After taking their opponent Total Package for granted in the opening game they dropped the hammer on them in the championship game. This group has a chance to be GOOD!
