Happy Birthday to Sarah Gilkinson-Blauzvern ❤️

While Pilates started as a way to rehab her knee injury, it eventually became her favorite way to feel strong, balanced, and connected in her body. You can catch her on Sunday mornings at our Bellevue studio!

Outside the studio, you’ll find her reading, knitting, or out on long walks with her husband and dog.

Happy Earth Day 🌎

In a season that can feel heavy and uncertain, we keep coming back to this: the mountains are still standing. The rivers are still running cold and clear through the valley. The wildflowers are doing what wildflowers do- pushing up through the ground anyway, unbothered, impossibly beautiful.

We’re lucky to live and move in a place that reminds us, daily, what’s worth protecting. The old growth forests. The lakes. The long light over the Cascades on a spring evening. These things are not guaranteed. They ask something of us.

Today, everyone in class receives a pack of wildflower seeds 🌸. Plant them somewhere. Tend something. The small acts of care add up.

The earth is worth fighting for. So is your body. So are the people in your community. We think it’s all connected.

Today we celebrate Elysa! 🎉

Elysa found Pilates through her competitive tennis days, originally turning to it to stay strong and injury-free — and lucky for us, she found her way back to it here in Seattle. What started as something to support her own body turned into a passion for helping others feel just as good, both physically and mentally.

You can find Elysa teaching in Bellevue on Monday evenings and Wednesday mornings, and occasionally subbing in North Bend!

Elysa brings a thoughtful, grounded energy to her teaching, and we’re so lucky to have her as part of our team.

We’re so excited to now offer a free Teen Pilates class in Bellevue and North Bend 🤍

Every Monday at 7:30pm, this class is designed specifically for teens who are curious about Pilates, looking to build strength and confidence, or simply want to try something new in a supportive environment.

Led by our apprentice instructors, these sessions are intentionally small, approachable, and focused on learning the fundamentals in a way that feels safe, welcoming, and age-appropriate.

Whether they’re involved in sports, dance, or just want to move their body in a new way, this is a great place to start!

DAY 31- PUSH UP

We made it! 31 days of showing up, moving with intention, and coming back to the work.
The Pilates Push-Up is a full-circle moment.

Strength, control, alignment, breath… it’s all here.

It’s not about how many you can do, it’s about how well you move through each phase with awareness and integrity.

Elisa brings us home with this one- steady, strong, and intentional to the very end.

We’ve made it to the final stretch, and Control Balance is the perfect place to land.

This one is all about opposites—
length and lift, effort and ease, control and surrender.
It asks for strength, stability, and just enough flexibility to find that floating moment in between.
