Kate Winslow is a coach for Parents and their Teens.
She focuses on building the bridge between parent and teen relationships, instilling hope, relief, and nurturing connection through what can often feel like defeat and helplessness as a teen parent.
In this episode, Kate shares her beautiful story, the struggles she went through as a sixteen-year-old, including moving to the US from another country, arriving in the US knowing no one and not knowing English... to the downward spiral that led her to a years-long he**in addiction.
Kate's story is so impactful and her experience so deeply felt, I wish I would have known her years ago to help me through the chaos I had with my then teenage daughter.
Needless to say, Kate is here now serving others and filling a deep need. To help us parents understand where our power truly is, what our responsibilities actually are, and how to improve relationships with our children and finally get the sigh of relief and clarity we so long for.
Kate also shares in detail who she helps and why, and some of the struggles that her clients tend to face.
