The Belleville Main Street Marathon is conducted by the Belleville Running Club and Toolen’s Running Start. Proceeds benefit the Belleville Parks and Recreation Department. Enjoy the local shops and restaurants in Belleville before and after the race. We Still Need YOU!

🚨 We still need 100 volunteers for race day!

The countdown is on, and we're getting closer to the 10th Anniversary Belleville Main Street Marathon & Half Marathon — but we still need 100 amazing volunteers to help make race day happen.

From water stations and course support to helping runners and cheering them on, our volunteers are an essential part of the experience.

You don't have to run 13.1 or 26.2 miles to be part of the Belleville Marathon. Come be part of the team behind the race!

It's 6:30 AM.
The streets are starting to fill up.
The runners are nervous and excited.
The sun is coming up.
And you're about to cheer hundreds of people through their biggest challenge of the day.

You might not run a mile, but you'll still be part of every mile.

You'll help keep runners safe, on course, and moving forward. And when a runner is tired, doubting themselves, or wondering how they're going to make it to the finish line, your cheering might be exactly what they need to keep going. 🙌

Just Finished a Long Run? Here's What to Do Next.

The long run is done, but recovery is where the work continues.

After a big training run:
• Rehydrate and replace the fluids you lost.
• Eat a meal or snack with carbohydrates and protein to help refuel.
• Take some time to cool down and let your heart rate come down gradually.
• Gentle stretching or light movement can help you loosen up.
• Get off your feet and give your body time to recover.
• Most importantly, get some good sleep!

You don't need to feel 100% perfect after every long run.
Being tired and a little sore is part of the process.
Listen to your body and give it the recovery it needs.
Put in the miles. Recover. Come back stronger.
