Xavier Lilton is a c/o 2031 prospect out of West Jr High School who made a major impact on both ends of the floor this past weekend, earning himself the Hurricane of the of the weekend. X’s high motor, length, and athleticism helped him stand out every time he steps on the court. X consistently brought energy, competed hard, and made winning plays. One of the biggest strengths in X’s game has been his growth throughout the season. From the start of the year until now, he has shown tremendous improvement and confidence in his game. This past weekend, X dedicated his performance to his great-grandfather, playing with passion, toughness, and purpose every minute he was on the floor.

A crafty playmaker with a strong handle, SJ attacked the basket with confidence and got downhill at will. He’s continued to develop his jump shot and has displayed the ability to consistently knock down threes, making him a tough matchup for defenders all weekend. On the defensive end, SJ competed hard, applied pressure, and created momentum-changing plays for his team. His hustle, scoring ability, and spark off both ends of the court made him a key piece to the team’s successful weekend.

c/o 2033 PG, Dallas Harris is a tough and fearless 5th grade point guard who made a huge impact on both ends of the floor throughout the tourney, this past weekend. Despite being one of the smaller players on the court, he played with resilience, confidence, and nonstop energy. Dallas was a true pest on defense, creating havoc with his quick hands and anticipation, turning steals into easy transition points for his team. Offensively, he handled the ball exceptionally well and controlled the pace with confidence. As he consistently knocked down 3s, Dallas became an even bigger threat every time he stepped on the court, earning himself the Hurricane of the weekend.

Grant has developed into a very strong shooter and has shown major improvement over the past year, continuing to elevate every aspect of his game through hard work and dedication. 2030 PF/C Jamar Hemphill Jr was a dominant force at the “Smoke in the City” Tournament, showcasing his physical, high-motor performance on both ends of the floor, earning himself the Hurricane of the weekend. He controlled the paint with ease, using his strength and positioning to finish efficiently on offense and secure rebounds on defense. Jamar’s developed footwork and patience against double-teams were impressive, and he consistently created second-chance opportunities. Lamar Williams of Central Jr. High LEADS 14U Hurricanes to DOMINANCE 🔥
Central Jr. High standout Lamar Williams put on a show this weekend, running the point for the 14U Hurricanes. From the opening tip, Lamar dictated the pace, made clutch decisions, and kept his team focused every possession.
When it came to scoring… he was ON FIRE from deep. Lamar was knocking down three after three, stretching the floor and forcing defenses to pick their poison. His ability to shoot with confidence while still facilitating made him a problem all weekend long.
More than just points, Lamar showcased true point guard leadership—setting up teammates, staying composed, and making winning plays on both ends. Performances like this prove he’s not just playing the game… he’s exceling it.
