My vision while building this bar was accommodating the female lifters. A situation I encountered of a lady doing walking lunges struggling with hand-held dumbbells. It allowed her only two 30-yard intervals. She put down the dumbbells and began massaging her forearms and shaking her hands out because of lactic acid build up. I asked her to try my bar. She was able to conquer 8.5 intervals of 30 yards each, and exclaiming in her words, ”My ass is on fire! I’ve never had that because I can only go as long as I can hold these stupid dumbbells. I’ll buy this bar from you right now!” The next day she was very sore, in the right places! Continuity and the right tool make a difference.

Just killed it using my new invention, the Betoney Fitness Bar! I really couldn't stand doing squats using a straight bar, because it hurt! I could only go as long as my hands could hold the dumbbells, not getting the "burn" in my legs and glutes. Not tonight! I feel it. I did 25 reps to get the blood flowing. Then I squeezed out another 30. Then tried for another 25, but only got 21! My lower body was on fire! ill let my self rest and try for another 25! You talk about feeling it! My bar is tons more comfortable, and totally in control using my built in handles! Can't wait for the next leg day!

I traveled to various bodybuilding/fitness expos, and asked questions of competitors and attendees regarding the straight-bar-squat exercise and how they felt using it? The unanimous conclusion is EVERYBODY hates using the straight bar for squatting! I was told:

- It hurts the back of my neck!
- It hurts my wrists!
- My shoulders hurt from being forced into awkward positions!
- There's a spot on the back of my neck where that bar sets!
- My lower back is no longer the same because of improper lifting technique!
- I hate doing squats, but I have to do them!

WHAT IF YOU KNEW OF AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE STRAIGHT BAR SQUATTING EXERCISE, SOMETHING SAFER AND MORE COMFORTABLE, SOMETHING YOU CAN DO IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME, WOULD YOU USE THAT INSTEAD? WOULD YOU AT LEAST WANT TO SEE WHAT THAT IS?

Tomorrow is a new day, and there is a better way!
