The 12s finished their season at the Ripken Experience winning the silver bracket. The U finished with a 13-2 win. They pounded out 7 doubles, three were ground rule doubles. Jackson VonGunden hit three doubles, Memphis Moore, Tanner Herrold, Deagan Stover and Jaxon Orndorf all had ✌️-baggers. AJ Cleaver 💥 his 11th homer of the season and his fourth of the weekend! The team finished 3-2 for the weekend, with their 2 losses coming to the teams that finished 1st and 2nd. For the season, the 12s were 20-7, finishing with at least 20 wins the last two seasons. They also finished with 35 home runs, topping their 14 from last season.

The 12s opened up play in the silver bracket Saturday at the Ripken Experience. They moved on the championship game on Cal Sr. Field (Camden Yard replica) on Sunday with a 24-3 win in the semifinals. Big 💣 were provided by Isaac Lewis, Jackson VonGunden, Jameson Johnston, and Tucker Deibler.

The 11s were in action at Diamond Nation in New Jersey. They went 2-0 yesterday at “Boys of Summer.” Game one was a come back 11-10 victory with Mason Quick getting the walk off single. Game two the bats came alive for 11 hits in a 17-7 4 inning run rule win. Two great team wins with everyone contributing. Next game @ 430 today.

The Orange Crush showed up in Game 1 on Friday at the Ripken Experience, but it just wasn’t enough as the 12s fell 7-5 in a pool play matchup. Jackson VonGunden, AJ Cleaver, Memphis Moore and Jaxon Orndorf all hit solo 💣s. Moore also added an RBI double in the game. Northwest Elite, out of Seattle, Washington, used a first inning 3-run homer and a sixth inning grand slam to edge the U. Oliver Lucas earned the Big Dawg award for his defensive play. He turned an unassisted double play and made multiple diving plays and caught multiple line drives. In the next game, Cleaver would add his 10th homer and 30th for the team!

The 12 opened up with an 8 am game at the Ripken Experience in Aberdeen Maryland. The Big Blue Diesel 🛻 took awhile to get going, but pulled out a 16-8 win to open play. Isaac Lewis (Penns Valley) provided the first 💣 with a two-run 🚀 to center. In the big 9-run fifth inning, AJ Cleaver (BEA) started things off with a solo 💥 to center. The Big Dawg award went to Deagan Stover (Central Mountain) went 2-for-3 with a ✌️ bagger, and he closed out the game on the mound throwing the final 3 innings. Tucker Deibler was 2-for-2 with 2 ✌️-baggers.

The 12s played a down to the wire championship game at the Lumberyard in Williamsport, falling 7-6 to finish second. Deagan Stover (Central Mountain) started the scoring with a solo 💥 in the first. Later in the game trailing 5-3, Jameson Johnston tied the game with a two-run 💣 just inside the left-field foul pole to tie it up. In the end, it wasn’t in cards! The semifinals, saw the 12s win 14-4. Again the team effort was the difference in the game. Big Dog awards for game 1 went to Ryan Gearhart (Bellefonte) for throwing a runner out at first from right field, AJ Cleaver (BEA) for doing the same from center, and Jackson VonGunden for the🚶🏻‍♂️‍➡️-off single for the mercy rule. The boys are back in action at the Ripken Experience on Thursday.
