Hello Yall, Yesterday's Fireman's Food Fest in Pierre Part....what a smashing success....what a show of Community unity and support for such a worthwhile organization !!! Last year's live auction ...unofficial total about $52,000. this year's unofficial total a gross of over $69,000. !!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW !!!!!!!!!! What a generous

HEY YALL, tomorrow night the AHS MUSTANGS play Thibodaux at MUSTANG STADIUM AT 7:00 pm. AT HALFTIME, the newly refurbished fiberglass MUSTANG from the CLASS OF 1969 will be unveiled ! MUSTANG STADIUM will finally have a beautiful MUSTANG MASCOT permanently housed at the stadium....courtesy of the AHS Class of 1969 !!!!!!!!!!!! A big THANK YOU to Rommie Falcon and the Pierre Part Paint and Body Shop for his "labor of love" in restoring the 55 year old mascot !!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the newly formed Pierre Part-Belle River Ducks Unlimited Chapter for having a most successful EVENT last night ! Old and new DU supporters filled the Hall and enthusiastically supported the cause of waterfowl conservation. While the numbers are not in yet, it appears that they may have broken all the records from the past years with a live auction of approximately $80,000. ! A big shout out to our new Chairman... Donnie Calamia and assistant Ryan Boudreaux !
Again, the final tally is not in yet but, it appears that this Event will have exceeded all previous Events held in Pierre Part....so glad this Event has returned to our community where it started in1983 ! And remember, the funds that DU is spending on coastal restoration benefits not only ducks and wildlife, but people too !
