Chard Youth Deer Hunt

Chard Youth Deer Hunt Our mission is to provide education and experiences related to hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation to younger generations!

We will help provide youths with access to land, equipment, and mentors to get them involved with all aspects of hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation. We desire to teach them about these less mainstream sports to inspire a lifelong hobby built around a supportive community. We want to grow passion around taking care of our natural habitats, encouraging gun safety and enriching education related to our mission.

We had our annual luncheon yesterday afternoon what a great turn out, we had zero leftovers! The hunters, thier families and lots of our sponsors were in attendance as we raffled some awesome prizes to all the kids in attendance.

We are thankful to beable to share our love of hunting and all things outdoors with the next generation. Building a community is our mission and we can't thank everyone enough that helps make that possible. Below is a picture of all the sponsors and donors we have.

A huge thanks to our mentors who take the time away from their familys to make sure and help others, this wouldnt be possible without all of you.

It was another great youth deer season, thankyou for following along with our hunt and we look forward to next year!! Might go take a nap now😀

Well the deer decided they had a different outcome for tonight than we had hoped for but thats just the way hunting goes some times. Landon Kept a great attitude and kept going back for more and thats the key to this sport, just keep going! All of us Mentors want to make sure he keeps going in the future so we all decided to chip in and to Purchase Landon a Lifetime Deer License!!!! On a bright side of things Everyone had a great time these last 4 days. We Learned alot, we laughed alot, and most important of all we are all going home safe.

Well we tried two different spots, put Landon and Mike on stand and had the mentors slowly try to push some deer their way. They seen some deer but they never presented a good clean shot. After those two sits we ate a quick lunch and right back at it they went. Landon and Mike are sitting in Blind that has been untouched the last 4 days, so hopefully they can get some action on this last sit of the youth hunt. Regardless of what happenes tonight We can't express enough of how good of attitude Landon has. Walks in every morning and night with a smile on his face!! Go get em Men we will be inpatiently awaiting your call for some help!!!

Alright FB followers We need some help!! Send Landon Schneewind some good vibes , He is still in pursuit for his first deer!! All us mentors are rallied up and are headed out in the woods to see if we can get some deer moving to him! We have 8 hrs left which is plenty of time so wish us luck!!

Dreyen Voigt Got it done this morning with this nice doe! He put a great 80 yard shot on her and put it right in the lungs. She tipped over about 50 yards away. Its always hard to keep positive as the days go by but he stuck with it and it payed off!! Dreyden's mentor was Rick Otto, Well done guys!!

Landon Kroells "14" Harvested his first deer/buck this morning! We sat in the same blind as he did yesterday morning where the deer came by to early. Today they came about 15 mins later and he made a great 40 yard shot "double Lunged"! He will be taking his 7 point buck to northstar taxidermist to get a euro mount done donated by Jeff Holman of Northstar Taxidermy! Thank you Jeff!! I had a great time hunting with you buddy great work today!!
